Re: Next Announcement

Yeah, Vicky claiming that Parkway had the biggest crowd they've ever had at Bloodstock - no way that was the case, that's bullshit. I don't think she realises that a lot of the reaction to the Parkway booking in the first place was because of her own social media posts and her attempts at stoking t...

Re: Next Announcement

Is it true that Skindred are sub-headlining next year?

No way will they have what would essentially be 2 bump ups as headliners, the only way that would happen is if the 3rd headliners was someone like Manowar.

Re: Next Announcement

Not a great first announcement to get me to go back. I like Skindred, but once you've seen them once, you don't need to see them again and they weren't so great the other year at BOA. I don't really care about the other bands, Dark Tranquility are OK. Read someone say that Hatebreed and Sick of it A...

Has the chance to book Demons & Wizards, but chooses to book Batushka instead. You couldn't make it up.

Re: BOA 2020?

Devin Townsend
Baby Metal - special guests

Lamb of God
Body Count

Megadeth - depending on Daves health
Behemoth

I also think Skindred, Carcass, Skid Row, Therapy? Will be on the lineup.

Re: Next Announcement

Even the film choices are lousy, they couldn't even be arsed to write "From" dusk till dawn.

Re: Next Announcement

It must be insulting for the other headliners at the festival that the only advert that seems to be promoted on social media is one saying its nearly time for Parkway Drive. They really are promoting the shit out of them, they're obviously insecure about their appeal otherwise they wouldn't be doing...

Re: Next Announcement

Considering VIP only just sold out recently, when normally it sells out in the first few weeks is an indicator sales are bad. I've seen a lot of competitions to win tickets as well, which I can't remember seeing in previous years. Hopefully the organisers will see this and start thinking about ditch...

Pretty sure BOA have already said they hope they return.

My guess is they will have been booked for next year. Perhaps they might get announced at the festival this year with the other bands.

Re: Next Announcement

I put Tesseract in the same category as Sylosis (remember them?) a band who were on the rise nearly a decade ago, but didn't do anything significant. That would have been the time to book the likes of Tesseract. Its not just them that are the problem, there's also Raging Speedhorn, Sulphur, Cancer B...

Re: Next Announcement

Metal Church have never charted in the UK top 100 in their entire history. Neither have Powerwolf. Children of Bodom last charted in the UK in 2011, hitting no.71. Soulfly have had half a dozen chart hits in the UK over the years, the debut went top 20 but nothing since has cracked 40. Their last a...

Re: Next Announcement

TesseracT's last record sold more copies in the UK than anyone else on the Sunday outside of Sabaton. I think you mean Friday, but either way that's simply not true. Powerwolf, Bodom and Soulfly all sold more than Tesseracts last album. Metal Church's previous album also got to number 25 in the cha...
