Hell aren't anywhere close to being classed as prog. They are a heavy metal band, simple as that. If anything they have a lot of similarities to NWOBHM.

As for the Thursday night headliner, something like Blaze Bayley would be good.

Surely Metal Church, Alestorm, Candlemass, Sonata Arctica etc who are all around in europe at the time would be better fits than King 810

How did the organisers get this years lineup so wrong. It's one of the worst BOA lineups I've ever seen.

Who in their right frame of mind would book King 810 on an exclusive.

I'm not sure why, when you look at some of the bands that have headlined recently, people seem to think Kreator are too small. Using Manchester venues as a gauge, some of the recent headliners Bloodstock have had (e.g. 2011 onward) play venues the same size on their own headlining tours as Kreator ...

Alice in Chains and Deftones on that list are likely in the future, unless BOA expands.

The overall quality of the lineup. The majority of last years bands are bigger than this years.

Why do people keep mentioning Kreator, they're nowhere near big enough to headline, never have been even when the featival was smaller. If much bigger bands in Anthrax and Testament can't headline, Kreator definitely can't.

ToPT could probably fill the same role as Diamond Head last year.
