Re: Next Announcement

Pist is a great booking, the latest album is fantastic, but they play in my leg of the woods so often I can't really get that excited (I've seen them twice already this year, and am due to to again next month). Not sure where I've seen Blasphemer before, but they're in my head as someone I've previo...

Re: Epica + Apocalyptica UK shows

This will end up being the 5th time I've bought tickets to see Epica without actually liking them. If only their music was good as their choice of supports.

Re: Next Announcement

I couldn't disagree more about the Sophie stage, it's what's kept me coming the last few years. I can see what their idea of what the bigger bands they want to book are by looking at the main stage, and I'd rather they just kept on doing what they're doing on the Sophie. Granted it's not looking al...

That's looking very nice. Need to see how much cash I have left once I get back from Wacken Winter Nights this weekend, might jump in.

Re: Cosmic Void Festival - Camden - 3rd & 4th October

They'll have to really stack the lineup to justify the price, that's a lot of money for a weekender in a single venue. That's early bird tickets too, so I imagine they'll go up even higher at some point. On that note have they cancelled Lords Of The Land in Scotland yet? 3 bands announced and no ven...

Re: worst band on the lineup ?

Guy wearing armour and singing about unicorns is silly, but guys wearing corpse paint and singing about Satan knows wat (he might but I cant tell a word they are saying) apparently isnt :o  That's always made me laugh about certain Black Metal fans. "Your music is so lame, now hush so I c...

Re: Metalfest Open Air

I have some friends who've been a few years now and say it's fantastic. Unfortunately it clashes with Stonebaked Festival this year, but I certainly want to do it at some point.

Re: Next Announcement

Hatebreed are the one Hardcore band I actually quite like, but they're something I want to see on a Friday or Saturday afternoon, not in a prestigious slot closing the festival.

The rest is just toss.

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

Ritual King's album launch party in Manchester. I was on the fence about going but they just added Cybernetic Witch Cult and Battalions as support, so it's a no-brainer for me now.

Re: Fen & Frostmoon Eclipse UK Tour

Already at the Mondo Generator gig across town on the 11th, but as I'm only really going to that to see Under supporting, I might just do both (assuming Fen are headlining).

Another tour that I'm on holiday during, curses! They were really good at Wacken Winter Nights last year.

Re: Wormrot UK dates

27th August: The Bread Shed, Manchester
30th August: Gorilla Studios, Hull

The Gorilla Studios one is a 60 capacity practice space, so will probably sell out super fast and be insane.

EDIT: Scratch that, already sold out.
