Re: BOA 2019: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

As far as the campsite is concerned, I strongly suggest (again) providing punters with weekend camping tickets a rubbish bag each upon arrival. They said they were going to do that, and have done the same the last couple of years. I've still yet to see it actually happen though. A couple of Showsec...

Re: BOA 2019: Rate the bands

Thursday: Barbarian Hermit 8/10 - Love me some Babs, great to see them doing their thing on a big stage. Blind River 5/10 - Really enjoyed them last time they played, this time, not so much. Footprints in the Custard 8/10 - Excellent sillyness, really nice bunch of guys too. Ten Ton Slug 7/10 - Mmmm...

Re: BOA 2019: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

The Good: -Friday's line-up. - The queue to get in, don't know what they've changed this year, or if less people showed up early on Thursday, but we were off the shuttle bus at 11:15, and all pitched up and ready to go by 12:30. Last year we were still queuing by then. - Showsec staff are consistent...

Re: Next Announcement

Vio-lence Sacred Reich Skindred Dark tranquility Butcher babies The black dahlia murder Announced. For a first announcement, it's fine. Dark Tranquility are great, Skindred were good fun last time, and Vio-lence and Sacred Reich are both bands I'd happily watch. Nothing that sells me on a early bir...

Re: Dimmu Borgir cancel

That works out pretty well for me. Managed to catch a glimpse of Batushka at Damnation last year and thought they sounded pretty decent, so I'm happy with that as a replacement. And previously I was going to have to miss Damim for Dimmu, but I'm more than happy to split the Queensryche set in half a...

Gutted, that's one of the 4 I was really looking forward to on the Sunday. Hopefully they can scrounge up someone good to fill.

Re: Next Announcement

If only there was a tried and tested method of communicating something to a wide audience without requiring (but not excluding) the use of smartphones. We could call it something like the world wide web, and people could connect to it using any number of different clients in order to consume the in...

Re: Next Announcement

Times are now up, but has things like Aborted playing a 19 hour set from 08:24 - 03:36, so I don't think it's worth relying on yet
