Re: No Code Orange?

Vicky replied to someone on twitter earlier saying the everything will be announced on Thursday. I'm not convinced we'll get a new band, probably just a reshuffle Can't remember where it was, but I read something from them saying they would be bumping up a Sophie band rather than booking something ...

Re: Next Announcement

Eluveitie would be my choice, get some folk back on the mainstage, give me something to watch on Saturday and gets them out of that shite Sunday night slot. I hope not, would cut their set length in half Seconding that. One of my main reasons for being there, would be pretty pissed if they moved in...

Re: Next Announcement

Very happy to see Widows got through, fantastic band. Also happy to see Damim booked, although that's stretching the "New Blood" name just a wee bit.

Re: Next Announcement

Including the indoor festivals, there have been 20 Bloodstock festivals so far. So technically, this year is the 20th anniversary. Amazing, everyone word you just said was wrong. Erm, how? The first anniversary of something is it's second iteration. And if you count the number of indoor and outdoor...

Re: Metal Karaoke

The dude who deals with the after hours entertainment these days does also run metal karaoke nights on occasion, so it could happen. But I'd much prefer having movies again, that was a nice way to unwind.

They did indeed. I spent most of yesterday wanting to die, it was a good night.

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Existential Dread took the last of the final spots in Manchester, which gives us a line-up of: Clashmute - Metalcore Saurr - Metalcore 40,000 Leagues - Melodic Metal Existential Dread - Slam/Beatdown We've also got PIST, The Brood, Alpha Omega and Democratus playing sets to make it an all -day affair.

Re: Next Announcement

Just off of basic descriptions I'll probably be watching Grand Elder, Beggar, Womenowar and Lost In Lavender Town (there aren't enough instrumental bands).

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

The last of the Manchester semi-finals was on Sunday, with 40,000 Leagues getting the spot. Wasn't able to make it, but I've really enjoyed them previously and thought they got absolutely robbed last time they competed when they didn't make it past the heats. Our playoff of the 3 semi-final runners-...

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Manchester's 2nd semi was last night featuring Stormrider, Frozen In Shadows, Pallas Athena and Sauur. Really well attended again, I think by this stage we can safely say the move to Sunday nights is a good one. Stormrider were on good form. I think they're the only vanilla Heavy Metal band we've go...

They usually announce the New Blood in batches once they have a decent number of M2TM winners built up to confirm.
