It's a beautiful day. Clear skies, dry roads, a slight chill in the air. I'm thus pissed off that my bike's not on the road and I had to get the tube into work today :-(

Joey Belladonna was playing with Adler's Appetite? Yep: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h174/natasha_papadopoulos/adlers_appetite_advert_2007-1.jpg But since it seems Adler can't stay straight for more than a week or two, the tour's been cancelled. Belladonna is still playing, although the show's...

Finding out the Devonshire Arms has closed. It's reopened again as a rock pub under new ownership, but apparently it's all well lit and without the previous atmosphere now, rather than dark and dingy like it should be. They're apparently relaxing the dress code, too, which could see and influx of un...

I forgot to add. I'm currently reading "The sword of Bedwyr" by R.A. Salvatore. It seems lacking in depth so far. The characters are shallow, and the plot line too superficial and hurried. But I'll see how it turns out.

I've started reading Steven Donaldson's chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Really good so far, within 100 pages you DETEST the protagonist to the point where you almost stop reading. I'm currently reading on in the hope that something horrible with happen to him. Despite my detest of the...

How do you plan on using the Data Protection Act to get that footage? I suspect you mean the Freedom Of Information Act.

The crowd at Korpiklaani last night. The pit during Kivimetsän Druidi's set was annoying but bearable. Fortunately.it was so packed for Korpiklaani's set that there wasn't room for the crowd to move enough to create a pit. That was fine until the crowd surfing started. After being kicked in the hea...

At least in Camden tomorrow I'm meeting a mate at The Worlds End and will no doubt run into Personally, I've never really understood the problem ...

Mr Honda and his army of Japanese midgets. My fat western fingers struggled to get to the electrical connectors necessary to fix the headlight on my bike (which decided to stop working on my way home from work last night).

I won the pot in our poker game this evening. After a bit of a losing streak of late, that win puts me back in the black, which is always good!

neighbour used to have a Vauxhall Viva, must be gone 30 years old now if it's even still on the road. Heh. I have several vehicles, the youngest of which is my bike (24 years old), and the oldest is my racing Capri (29 years). The thing about older vehicles is they're so easy to maintain. You don't...

Can't be arsed with that, looks absolute rubbish. They'll never top Rocks The 80s. I dunno, I thought it looked pretty good, and they're doing a PS2 version as well, which is a bonus as it wasn't initally on the cards. As for Rocks The 80s, I thought it was far too easy. I went straight through on ...
