Mr Honda and his army of Japanese midgets. My fat western fingers struggled to get to the electrical connectors necessary to fix the headlight on my bike (which decided to stop working on my way home from work last night).

I won the pot in our poker game this evening. After a bit of a losing streak of late, that win puts me back in the black, which is always good!

neighbour used to have a Vauxhall Viva, must be gone 30 years old now if it's even still on the road. Heh. I have several vehicles, the youngest of which is my bike (24 years old), and the oldest is my racing Capri (29 years). The thing about older vehicles is they're so easy to maintain. You don't...

Can't be arsed with that, looks absolute rubbish. They'll never top Rocks The 80s. I dunno, I thought it looked pretty good, and they're doing a PS2 version as well, which is a bonus as it wasn't initally on the cards. As for Rocks The 80s, I thought it was far too easy. I went straight through on ...

I've been mostly playing Guitar hero: Rocks the '80s of late. That and Manic miner (Fuse rocks!), and of course Angband (the greatest game of all time).

What the hell cd or recorded output did you get. If it was old stuff then ok, if it was Darkest Pinnacle of Light then infact you are crazy It was "Darkest pinnacle...". To be fair, I've only had one listen, and some tracks are better than others. Maybe it'll grow on me with repeated list...

I love looking in charity shops for books, can often find some real surprises. Try porn shops (yes, seriously). I used to make some amazing finds trawling through the shops in Soho. I don't know if it's still the case, but due to some strange licensing laws, many of them were only allowed to sell a...

Re: The Book thread

Just started the Redemption of Althalus Not a bad book, but a bit predictable, like much of Eddings' work. I'm currently reading "Assassin's quest", the last part of Robin Hobbs' "Farseer triliogy". So far, it's OK, but not quite as good as the first two. I'll wait and see how i...
