The weather. It's unpleasantly hot, particularly when you're outside working on a car. How people can claim that hot sunny days like today are a good thing is just beyond me.

The erlang runtime, and py_interface, and the fact that the two are both undocumented, and they refuse to work with each other properly. Sigh :-(

I took my new racecar out for its first test runs today. A few minor teething troubles, but overall, it was great. What I thought was a thrust bearing in my car going is actually the clutch, and since its hydraulic it involves taking out the gearbox and for good measure the slave cylinder is on its way out. 250 quid, wham, bam, thank you maam. But as long as its easy to read for all then thats what matters. The problem is that it's often not easy to read, at least for me. but its sad that in schools today kids actually write assignments in text speak A teacher friend of mine was telling me that she's allowed to correct them when they do ...

People who seemingly lose any ability to either spell or construct a grammatically correct sentence when posting to online forums (both this one and others). I have no objection to typos -- everyone makes mistakes. But using phrases like "I no" when they mean "I know" really piss...

Ouch!

Fortunately not. I'm a fairly cautious rider in the wet, and I stayed upright. But it pisses me off that I have to either avoid them, or tip toe over them, and takes much of the fun out of riding.
