Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last - Moonspell and Rotting Christ on Tuesday. Crowd went nuts for Rotting Christ. 3rd time seeing them this year, nice to see them indoors. Crowd were a bit stand off ish for Moonspell but a few Portuguese next to me were having the time of their lives. Liked hearing the 1755 stuff live and then e...

Re: Next Announcement

Awful announcement for me. Still only Dark Tranquillity, Sacred reich and gloryhammer that I care for. And seeing them get 40 minutes doesn’t cut it for getting a ticket.
Hoping Alcatraz, Brutal Assault or Into the Grave is better line up for me on the same weekend

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

Just booked the Thrash Alliance tour in February with Destruction, Legion of the Damned, Suicidal Angels and Final Breath. Going to the Tilburg date, 013 is one of my favourite venues and it’s a great city. The tour is only mainland Europe so far but Destruction have hinted that their will be a UK p...

Re: Next Announcement

I still think Amon Amarth will be in there somewhere.
Obviously their dates are late November but I guess they could be announced a few weeks before

Re: Visgoth - 2 shows London, full album sets

Got the Combi ticket for both shows.

It’s slightly changed now in that they are not album shows on each night but just 2 different set lists. Still think we’ll pretty much get every song over the 2 nights as they only have two albums and a two track ep.

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

My legend of a Gran still sends me £60 every birthday even though she’s 89 now so that coupled with £20 from my bro has been blown straight on gig tickets for next year. Went ahead and got: Memoriam at the Underworld Grand Magus at the Dome Manor fest The Combi ticket for the Visigoth double header ...

Re: Volbeat UK & IRE Tour

Just read that Volbeat walked offstage in Belfast the other night after 1 song. His voice wasn’t too good and the sound wasn’t great.

Re: Within Temptation/Evanescence

Got tickets for this for me and the Mrs as it’s one of the few metal gigs we can still go together as her tastes have changed a bit over the years. Although within temptation remain one of her favourite bands. 45 quid was a bit steep although to be expected at the o2. I was shocked they are playing ...

Re: Manor Fest - Keighley Victoria Hall - 23rd May 2020

Was just about to post the full line up. Nice little fest, great friendly atmosphere and good line up again. Went a couple of times when I lived up in Leeds but bit more of a trek since I moved but will do my best to make it up again next May. My mate has already booked a hotel for it. And yes Memor...

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

This week, just booked LOG/Kreator ticket and then finally got Amon Amarth ticket for Birmingham. Can’t do the London date so going to Birmingham instead with Sacred Reich the night before at the underworld so a nice double header and a good use of my last 2 holiday days off work.

Re: BOA 2019: Rate the bands

Only went Friday..... Death Angel 7.5/10. One of my fave bands, seen them much better than this but great way to start the day off. Metal Church 4/10. Just didn’t enjoy em that much. Soulfly 6/10. Was much better playing at midnight a couple of days later at Alcatraz in the tent. I think I need to b...
