Re: What has made you happy today

I have managed to set up my trem bar so that it stays where I put it and doesn't wobble. Any Ibanez owners will know what an achievement this is. It'll go eventually It always does :( It's to do with the bushings on the trem bar itself. I've found that putting a little PTFE tape under them keeps th...

Re: Recent Photos of Yourself

I think we might have been next to you in the queue getting into Bloodstock, were you queued next to 4 guys, one of whom was wrapped up in gaffer tape? (And I had a foam sword) Possibly, I was liberally handing out gaffer tape to weary beer-carriers to tape to their luggage/themselves. Were you que...

Re: Recent Photos of Yourself

Since I've been tagged in an absolute torrent of photos on facebook this week, I'll post a couple here. Disney gig last weekend, Dave from Season's end stood in on guitar. In case you can't tell (which is likely ), I am Hades and he is the beast. http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs2...

Re: What pissed you off today

Ah, right. Yeah if you have a scratch plate that generally means the cavity is on the front. You just need to unscrew the plate and lift it off, you'll probably need to remove the strings too. Don't touch the pickups though, they'll come right off with it!

Re: What pissed you off today

My bed fell through last night and I've only just realised that I haven't fixed it. Fuck it, it'll be alright  My bass just broke too :x The input jack thingy has somehow been pushed into the body of the guitar. To fix it, it looks like I need to take the neck off, unscrew a hellalotta screws ...

Re: What pissed you off today

So we've had these builders in our house replacing the central heating and because they were coming, I kept my £900 Randall amp head in a safe place. Turns out that not only did they break the head, but they tried to cover it up by putting the knobs that had fallen off in the wrong place to make it...

Re: The Book thread

I've acquired a ton of Jeffery Deaver paperbacks that were donated to the library (and donations almost always get ripped up and thrown out) so I guess I know what I'll be reading next after all. I read The Broken Window last year and really enjoyed it so I'm looking forward to getting into more of ...

Re: What pissed you off today

I have applied for a position in one of the other offices and was asked if they could ring me today for an informal chat. It was a really horrible interview... They asked the usual questions which I was fine with (how would your friends describe you, best and worse qualities etc).... Then they aske...
