Re: The Wrestling Thread

Destination X was for me a 7/10, easily TNA's best ppv in recent memory and tbh I cant remember the last solid one since then, probs Lockdown 2010! The rvd match didnt get going nor did the ultimate x or aj matches but i believe daniels was injured during it. The 4 way was fantastic as was gen me vs...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

Punk promo was amazing, dont think theres been anything better since Cane Dewey!
It makes all the TNA "shoots" seem scripted and bitter, fantastic.

I read the Raw spoilers for next week and tbh im a bit annoyed as it ruins the MITB championship match :(

Re: The Wrestling Thread

I reckon last week's tna spin cycle kinda sums up the state it is in these days. The panel had ODB and Velvet Sky joking around and having general banter whereas on the previous impact they were beating the crap outta each other! I dont get why tna need to keep reminding us of the not real element o...

Re: The Ale Thread.

Went to a Wetherspoons in Leeds on Saturday and had the Daleside Wheat, it tasted fantastic (very Belgianesque) however when I tried it in my local branch last night it had that "typical Wetherspoons ale" taste. Is Wetherspoons hit and miss everywhere or is just ours that can't serve a dec...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

TNA announce uk dates today if anyone's bothered!

Over the Limit was great imo, Orton vs Christian was fantastic and well worth a watch.

Re: The Wrestling Thread

God TNA are pissing me off lately! JR is right, they need to be their own brand instead of the constant digs at WWE.

Sacrifice wasn't too bad mind, I'll give em that. It was good compared to the last few ppvs but still nowhere near as good as anything WWE deliver on tv.

Re: The Wrestling Thread

I thought Lockdown was truly awful, I dont get Dixie and Hogan saying it was ppv of the year and angle having MOTY. They had the chance to have a better ppv than wwe but as usual they blew it! Didnt think too much of raw this week but the draft should be fun. Went to Smackdown house show on Sunday, ...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

Aye, tna piss me off now (more than usual). They drop bleeped F-bombs and have blood just because they can! Went to the wwe show in glasgow on Wednesday, was easily the best one I've been to! The matches were Evan Bourne vs Alex Riley Tyson Kidd vs Percy Watson (NXT) Melina and R-Truth doing a promo...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

And Tara is obviously training Madison, because again massively talented wrestler Agreed, tara's last solo match on impact was fantastic! Angelina Love - What planet is she from and can we send her back? She looks like a blow-up doll! Anyone going to the wwe shows this week? Im off to Raw tomorrow ...

I wouldnt, it was the first ppv ive bought since wm23 and i was v disappointed sadly. The amount of in-ring action was lower than usual at a wrestlemania although SNooki was indeed fantastic :D

Re: The Wrestling Thread

Fantastic rumble match imo and alberto's gonna be huge this year i reckon, wwe are pushing him in a better way than they did with seamus and koslov.

The retire fat matt chant was a bit lame tbh as he looked in good condition and was a lot better than he was at genesis!

Re: What made you Lol Today?

a gang of not quite chavs running for the bus i was on and the fat one missed it so his mate opened the window when he got on, stuck two fingers up at him and yelled "ya missed the bus ya fat shit'ed!!" pretty much all the people on the bus thought he was an obnoxious little twat however i...
