Re: The Book thread

apart from all the uni shit I have to read, I'm currently reading Eddie Jordan's book. It's nice to read that he too is dyslexic and yet made a massive contribution to something he loved, Follow by example as they say :)

Re: What pissed you off today

The fact that I still haven't been paid and neither have the group of guys I worked with for a job we did over a month ago! Even the boss of the company is confused as to why we haven't been paid as he had paid the guy to pay us!

We've been royally screwed!!!!!

Re: The Relationships Thread

I had a message from an ex saying sorry for what happened two bloody years ago. The reply was along the lines of "get over it and fuck off" :D

Re: What has made you happy today

quite a few things.

My record label is getting loads of interest from unsigned bands, 1 signed, 1 on the verge and a couple of demos in the post as we speak.

Also I'm in the middle of doing a deal with a small label in Scandinavia.

and I don't have to work till Sunday :)

Re: What has made you happy today

I won a XENYX X1622USB mixer on eBay and didn't really think much of it until I read about it and how easy it is to use. My home studio is complete :) I <3 Behringer mixers. I have a similar one sitting on my desk doing all the duties I need it to. Reliable as anything. That's odd, I've never come ...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Tbf, I don't really think anyone's bitching about it or complaining about the couples they've seen in the slightest. Just expressed an opinion re: the entire thing. Cool your jets. bitching is probably the wrong word. what im saying is, telling people how pointless it is is pointless. its no more a...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Wanting to make a special day of it is perfectly OK. A day for couples to get slushy and loved up might be irksome to us cynics but what the hell, it's just one day and presumably there's a lot of happy people around today. What I do object to, and Valentine's day does seem to be going this way, is...

Re: The Relationships Thread

I don't do anything on the 14th of feb because to me it's just another day. The last thing I did on this day was go and watch Priest feast with my girlfriend at the time and even then I went and hung out with my friends and left her with some other friends. It's just a normal day!! There is nothing ...
