Re: Next Announcement

Lost Society are not a small band. Finnish band, started off as crossover thrash but the last album was closer to metalcore. Good live. Of the others, Video Nasties (melodeath / black'n'roll) just released their debut album to solid acclaim (I enjoyed it quite a bit actually). Grave Lines should be ...

Yep, I can listen at work - most of my work is spreadsheet / email based. Aiming for 500 albums this year :D

Re: Unleash the Archers

Line-up has been re-jigged. As it stands, they look like sub-headliner now. So, barring any minor crossovers with Saxon (maybe 5 mins based on previous years line ups and times), UTA should be relatively unopposed in the gap between Priest and Saxon.

Well, if they don't end playing you can always come to the Sheffield M2TM Final where we have them as guest headliners: https://www.facebook.com/events/696253940783993/

Re: Next Announcement

The re-jigged line-up now has Gloryhammer and Green Lung clashing, which would be pretty horrible.

Re: Next Announcement

The top 3-5 bands or so listed on the Sophie on each day are all bands I'd have expected a fairly regular gig goer to have at least heard of / seen on touring posters etc. Granted, this may be different for different part of the country you're in for some of them (Pist, for example, I'd expected nor...

Re: 2020 Band Ranking list

Looking at it now it's fleshed out a bit, and I've definitely got stuff to see each day - Thursday - Nightflight Orchestra, Raised by Owls Friday - Devin, Skindred, Dark Tranquility, Svalbard, Soen, Bossk Saturday - Behemoth, Paradise Lost, Sylosis, Toxic Holocaust, Conjurer, Ramage Inc Sunday - Pri...

Re: Next Announcement

Soen is an incredible booking. Heard good things about Idle Hands, need to check them out. Checked out the three tracks Viscera have on Spotify - flipping heavy! Can imagine if they are tight they'll be cracking live. Might be a bit too 'core' sounding in their extreme sound for some on here though.
