Re: The Relationships Thread

I certainly could not go out with a girl who didn't like metal. Besides, almost all normies don't like guys with long hair, so if you have it you're essentially limiting yourself based on your appearance alone.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Long hair doesn't stop you or make it harder getting a job, that's just a load of bollocks. If you don't get a job what stopped you is your suitability or lack of experience/qualifications, not your hair.

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

All they're used for is making sure you get enough protein in your diet to keep building/maintaining muscle, so obviously they don't work any miracles. I've always been taught to use them after a workout (I used to keep one in my car to have right after the gym) as well as taking one if I fancied a...

Thanks for the responses, they are genuinely helpful! He is a bad influence IN A WAY...like the drugs. That's not something I'd have ever gotten into without meeting him, but I still enjoy it so that's more circumstantial I guess. Drink driving was his fuck up and that doesn't really influence me i...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

This always irritates me. Almost as much as when someone tried to tell me "standard temperature" is 21C. No, STP is a very specific term. 25C, 1 Atmosphere. :x Er, who says it's 25? In aviation it's 15C. EDIT: And gas suppliers. And 15 rings a bell as standard Earth average temperature us...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Thanks guys :) She voluntarily sat down next to me in Statistics and helped me out. It's a hard subject and she was a better teacher than my lecturer so at the very least, that itself is a plus. I'm hosting a party at my house tomorrow and she asked to go, but I don't think it's time to try anythin...

There are other things you can do. Cycling, skipping rope (good for HIIT), even just brisk walking.

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

It burns more fat than 'normal' cardio (Men's Health said 9x more)and increases your metabolism for around 24 hours afterwards, so you continue burning fat faster. I think that figure was based on one 20 year old study which had some less than rigorous assumptions woven into it. The problem with HI...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

Right, guys. I need to start exercising so I can make sure that I don't get all morbidly obese or anything. But I hate exercise with a passion. Any suggestions on what's a sensible activity I can start doing regularly that won't make me resent not spending my time playing Mega Drive instead? If you...
