Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League *NEW Season*
Anyone remember who won? Either way I've renewed it for this year and will buy a pint for last year's winner as long as someone vouches for them as I can't see last year's scores atm.

Re: Bloodstock Forum Meet 2019
Will come say hi and chat for a bit - will be more sober than usual though in an attempt to still be in a good state for Rotting Christ later on!

Re: POWERWOLF - SOULFLY - SWALLOW THE SUN & INCITE - CONFIRMED FOR BLOODSTOCK 2019
Another strong announcement that makes me actually quite tempted. Now just confirm Graveyard after I couldn't see them on tour and I'll be a definite yes!

Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League *NEW Season*
Well I've gone from winning last year to an absolute disaster this one! Every pick I make goes badly, and now even when I'm picking up some decent points finally Joe is getting a good 70 points most weeks, he's having a belter of a season on this.

Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League *NEW Season*
To be fair, Aguero has not been as consistent in the last couple of seasons, like I've captained him for all 3 weeks so far and for 2 of the 3 it's been a waste.
He's still averaging out well so far, but it could be tempting to switch him for Kane if he keeps having dead weeks.

Re: 2018 Clashfinder
Oh that rings a bell. Was the whole festival cancelled? Got cancelled part way through the second day. It was because of bad weather though (someone got struck by lightning) rather than a security issue. I think you're mixing up the years! 2015 was the thunderstorm - I was at Rock im Park which was...

Re: 2018 Clashfinder
Just for reference, the "By the fans for the fans" was never meant to be "we run the festival how you guys want," it was a statement that they themselves were fans, i.e. it's independently run as opposed to some giant company who doesn't care about the music calling the shots.

Re: 2018 Clashfinder
The one year I went to download they posted the times nearly 2 months in advance (2013), so unless they drastically vary from year to year it seems to be a bloodstock specific thing. They did manage about 2 weeks in advance in 2016 after strong calls to release them earlier including a good handful ...

Re: 2018 Clashfinder
Just wanted to pop in here to thank the OP for the time they put into the clashfinder this year! Always helps when this festival is notoriously late with the timings!

Re: Bloodstock Forum Meet 2018
I'll show my face as usual, glad I checked here as normally it's 7pm! It doesn't look like there will be much of an IRC camp this year to be honest, about 10 of the usual 15-20 attendees just said they weren't going on facebook over the weekend

Were you afraid she would do more even if you didn't want her to? Power and fear are big factors here.

Re: A free-for-all thread
This function amuses me greatly. Maybe we should quote a bunch of old users in case they also get notifications by email and end up returning!

Re: A free-for-all thread
New update to the forum means we get notifications when we get quoted. Just testing :D You called? Notifications for all! Also, does that work just for the post I clicked "quote post" on, or does it automatically happen to the email of anyone who's username I quote? I like cheese. Also Da...

Re: Forum Memories
It was a good, lively forum for over ten years. Might still have been if it hadn't been for that last 'update'. Or was it starting to fade anyway? It was maybe a little past its heyday, but it was still a well populated and viable place to interact with other festival goers. But the last update kil...
