Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

The thing is, Iceland got through in 2nd. None of the third place teams really jumped out as "I'm super glad these guys are still in it", though I'm biased by the fact I hate portugal. Exactly. Wales finished top of their group, and Iceland were 2nd and on the same points as 1st. Iceland ...

Whispered are certainly a strange find. Melodeathy stuff mixed with power metal style synths thrown in there, and old thrasy joint vocals...not bad mind.

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Hurt my heel travelling. Had to make it worse in order to get to the next two places, then walk around those places to not make it a waste of money going there. Now it seems really damaged :/

Re: Pooping Ladies Thread

Don't ever trust brands in foreign countries, even KFC. Was in Romania and just got some simple chicken strips, they were ridiculously spicy for something that wasn't even advertised as such, and went from perfect poops (thanks to all the balkan meat) to machine gun shitting for a solid week of trav...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

What a joke. Third placed teams should never have been allowed out of their groups, and for a team to win the tournament after only winning ONE game in 90mins is ridiculous. A crap tournament won by possibly the worst "big" team in it. The 3rd place team thing was weird but I can just abo...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Anyone who cares that much about how you dress is not worth your time, anyway. I personally don't give a fuck how someone chooses to dress, no matter their choice of music. What matters is that you have a connection/stuff in common/can actually hold a decent conversation. While it's cool to have a ...

Yeah I saw that too. Rosberg got none of this praise even after winning 4 races in a row, and Hamilton gets this after one race that he won thanks to a 13second pit stop from Red Bull fucking up...

Worth a separate post. Fucking british media with it's hamtilon-centric arse-kissing. Hamilton was 1/10th ahead, in practice and here's the headline: Awesome Hamilton dominates in Monaco My god, this article has never seemed more relevant http://www.theroar.com.au/2015/11/18/formula-ones-hamilton-ce...

Ricciardo (by the way, if you watched Channel 4's coverage, I did, on 4OD. As it turns out, the full race and qualifying don't get put on there at all if they do the race live, so instead of 5 hours of coverage of the weekend I got a paltry 54 minutes...also someone spoilered me by going OH YOU DON...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

The likes of Iron Maiden, Slayer and Municipal Waste have all played Reading in relatively recent years. I've got a fairly broad taste in music and like quite a lot of indie/alt bands but Reading still doesn't appeal to me much, even with the occasional inclusion of a bit of quality metal. Then aga...

Amazing to think that this thread was originally posted by Lee all those years ago to push the boundaries as the then webmaster wouldn't let us have an off-topic section! In those days you could discuss Bloodstock, metal in general or nothing! You might wanna re-lock your post count, you've lost on...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

I don't really think the Clough era Forest broke Liverpool's dominance. Beat us in a European Cup match and that was it really. I appreciate they won two European Cups. But that's no where near what we won in the same era. :P Beat you in the cup match AND won a league title, in a time that wi...
