Re: Dimmu Borgir cancel

A year ago id have been fucking ecstatic about this but the current incarnation of Batushka is very mediocre and as far as I know they are not even playing anything off Litourgiya atm

Glad I got to see them a couple of times when they were good

Re: First Timers Coming For The Day

1) Not sure on traffic 2) Drop is about a 15 min walk away 3) As far as I know the taxis have to go to the drop off not anywhere closer 4) There has been a lot of blacklash against them as they represent the festival moving in a different direction to normal but id still expect them to get an alrigh...

Re: Next Announcement

If this is how it's continuing to pan out, they need to find a way to get some variation in m2tm. If this much 'core' filled the main stage, the fest (as we know it) would be over. It doesn't sit well that the 'grass roots' bands don't really sync with the festival as a whole. Keep the votes sure, ...

Re: Next Announcement

Personally think a band should be able to say whatever the fuck they like on stage really unless its outright Nazi hate speech or something similar thats illegal I mean if politics becomes taboo doesnt a load of other stuff naturally follow? For example do we tell Watain to stop pushing their religi...

Re: Themed stages

Bloodstock is to small for this sort of thing

If you dedicate the Sophie tent(Im assuming this is what you mean as Dio and Hobgoblin would really not be suited to this) to 1 genre all day everyone who doesn't like that genre is screwed when it comes to alternatives to the Dio stage

Re: Next Announcement

Aye, I enjoyed it when it was a bonus party evening to kick off the weekend. I like Rotting Christ and will see them but think they'd have been better on another day when half the crowd (including myself probably) hit it too hard and are in a state by the time they show up  Agreed but accordin...
