Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

especially as the EU do not think that, for example, a convicted rapist should be denied free-movement http://immigration-appeals.icslegal.com/2016-03-02/law-abiding-rapist-let-back-into-britain-because-it-would-break-eu-law-to-deport-him-to-romania/ Did you just swallow the headline without burpin...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

I have bought merch at gigs from USA bands in the past few years and the price is no different from European bands or UK bands. But if you buy merch (or anything) directly from the USA then the tax is high due to the EU surcharge. Also, I bought something from Nuclear Blast in Germany and because th...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

As long as metal bands are freely able to get into the UK to play gigs and festivals then I have no problem with brexit. PS I have a brexit 1 to 2 times a day. ;) (Metal bands from the UK have been moving freely into non-EU countries for years without visas.) There could be a problem if an individu...

Re: Next Announcement

Conjurer and Palm Reader have a split coming out this week- why couldn't BOA get Palm Reader as well- it would be a sight better than NFO (so what if they are signed with nuclear blast and have ex-soilwork etc members) if their track Turn to Miami is anything to go by- looks like and sounds like som...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

I suppose it's one way of saving the air fare and the planet- experience Venezuela in the UK by voting Labour The proposed Labour policies are nothing like policies in Venezuela. They are modeled off policies used in Norway / Sweden / Germany which you may notice are all doing pretty well with a ha...

Re: Next Announcement

Apparently Cattle Decapitation self confirmed that they'll be playing next year during their recent Manchester date. Will be excellent news if it turns out to be true! :D I hope you're right. I'm happy with most of the line-up and the Hobgoblin IPA is great...I've committed to tickets now as I want...

Re: Next Announcement

[quote="Gandalf the Red"]I see they are continuing the trend of booking shite bands from the '90s that nobody cared for even then. Hell, I even remember them when they had a bloke singing for them.....

Good announcements for me- and your crack about Mina is uncalled for and NOT funny

Re: Use of Referendums

Interesting though that 64% of constituencies voted Leave but obviously many of their MPs did not honour that. And given that the total voting population of Scotland is 4 million the map speaks for itself
