Re: 2020 Albums

For the past couple of weeks I've been playing the shit out of Bütcher's 666 Goats Carry My Chariot. Also I've finally got around to checking out the Vengeful Spectre record as I've seen it mentioned in AOTM lists so much. The "folk" tag put me off before but it's quite subtle and so if yo...

I didn't go but apparently they were very good in Colchester.

I nearly went but in the end, laziness took over.

Sure is. Apparently they're headlining a new 2 day metal festival.

And the best part is it's free. The promoter is just asking for PayPal donations.

Re: Sabaton Wembley 08/02/20 - No Chiltern Railways

If that was only the and of it :( Got to the gig easily enough but was stranded in London yesterday, no trains going North at all. Luckily I had enough money to get another hotel, managed to get an early train this morning that thankfully wasn't as crowded as expected. Still a bloody expensive week...

Never heard of that London venue

If it's the same place I think it is, I remember it from my 90's raving days. :dibbley:

Announcement a day it seems.

Grrr. It would be awesome to see them again minus the fucked up sound but I'm still not tempted at that price. It would take something extraordinary, like Slayer coming out of retirement for a 1-day UK exclusive.

Re: UK Death Fest

I feel like I am up to date on death metal and I haven't even heard of 8 of the 20 bands announced. Probably the same ones as me then. I've never heard of Avslut Craft Infest Interment Kjeld Liquid Shit Malthusian Scordatura The price of tickets for this and that Cosmic Void one are far too high. I...

I took full advantage of the free downloads offer on the Transcending Obscurity bandcamp this month.

The latest Master album is a corker but those weekend tickets have priced me out too. Hopefully they'll make day tickets available but sometimes they only offer them for the less popular days. :x

The new Blasphemer (Italian) album is sick! Fans of bands like Immolation should check out this tasty slab of brutal tech-death.
