Yeah it's too soon to say how good but it's a welcome thrash of snarling, garagey blackened-punk.

Re: Cattle Decapitation UK/IRE Tour

Ah balls, would be all over it, but from experience Easter travel into London is too horrendous to want to contemplate it. Yep, add to that what transport there is will be busy as it's a bank holiday weekend then yeah, will have to bow out of this one which is a shame; been into them in a big way f...

Re: 2020 Albums

I haven't found any good 2020 albums yet but I'm discovering a few I missed in 2019.

I'll probably still go anyway. I wouldn't have thought travelling in to London will be any worse than us...

How very underground of you.

Is it? I just saw the opportunity of a cheeky little gig whilst I was going to be in London anyway. :D

Re: 2019 Albums

New Fleshcrawl is good. I can’t get into it yet. Just find it bland. Was really excited to hear they were finally doing another album after 12 years or so but have found this one disappointing. In fact, after an amazing year for releases, in which I’ve purchased 33 this is about the only one that I...

The supports for London are Gets Worse and Grey Brain. I'm not sure about the other gigs.

Bloody new cross inn.

Yeah it looks like a royal pain in the ass. Even from Liverpool Street, which is the right side of London for me.

The promoter is promising awesome supports so I'll wait until the rest of the lineup is announced.

Re: Skiltron UK Tour 2020

At this point it was clear that we weren't gonna be paid, so that's why we decided to leave. What a shitshow. It doesn't sound like any thought was given by either the promoter or your band, to the punters who turned up and paid to get in. It would have left however many people feeling pissed off, ...

Re: Bands Changing Musical Style

Are you sure? Metallica are by far the worst offenders IMO I actually agree with most of what you've said but for me the style shift and attitude shift was more noticeable from Black album => Load than And Justice => Black. Having a large amount of success with One, releasing Enter Sandman and then...

Re: Bands Changing Musical Style

As far as I'm concerned a good album is a good album. I've never been too concerned about genres so it doesn't matter to me if (for example) an old school death metal band suddenly incorporates black metal influences. Deliberate band wagon jumping to remain relevant is definitely a no-no but if it's...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Orange Goblin Christmas show at the Electric Ballroom Due to the early start/early finish for a club night bollocks I missed Naut but arrived just in time for Hellripper. What can I say that I haven't already about this great young band. Simply awesome. They played at least one new song which ...
