Re: 5FDP/Megadeth/Bad Wolves European Tour

This must be the season for odd tour announcements. Good bands supporting shit headliners.

I haven't seen Megadeth live since 1990 anyway but no way I'd make the effort for that. I think it'll cost a small fortune too as they priced me out last time they headlined over here.

Dammit. Just realised I'm seeing Romesh Ranganathan with the wife on 1st Dec. Good thing I didn't rush in to buying a ticket.

Looks like it's Blasphemy & Vulcano on the Saturday night after all.

Yeah it was. With the intention they were used for hunting and sport. You still can if you're a member of a gun club.

You've never been allowed to buy a hand gun in the UK. At least, not in my life time.

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

I know we live in the social media age where every past comment/status/tweet is held against people seemingly forever, but are folk not allowed to change their mind? Yeah I always say I'll never fiddle with my dinkle again but always change my mind. Why deny yourself one of the greatest pleasures i...

Re: Desaster/Root/Archgoat/Mork - London 01.12.19

Under blazing hot Majorcan skies I've been checking out some of the more recent Desaster albums. They're really good! Reckon I'll give this one a nod ahead of Blasphemy. It's been too long since I've been to a gig at the Underworld as well

On the subject of Tool, how many knew about this 10,000 Days Easter egg?

It's alright.

I've given it a few listens now. It sounds like solid Tool to me so I'm happy.

I haven't heard the whole album yet but both of the new singles are appalling.

I was considering the Brixton gig but I'll give it a miss.

We'll just have to see I suppose but for a pure 80's thrash head this must be surely some kind of wet dream!

Re: Alice Cooper: Trash - 30th Anniversary

ummm.....maybe. I just find Trash very forgettable generic 80s glam rock wannabe stuff, whereas Hey Stoopid at least had a few interesting tracks like Might As Well Be On Mars and Wind Up Toy. Tbf, I saw Alice Cooper on the Trash tour @ Wembley Arena. We had excellent seats and it was a really good...

Re: Testament / Exodus / Death Angel - March 2020

The Forum? That'll never sell out, I guess this underlines what people were saying about it being cheap to book then. Nice line up, will decide if I'm going later. The Koko gig with Annihilator + Vader last year must have been almost sold out. The Forum seems like a natural step up and this has a s...
