They moved to the UK after the one's I mentioned, recruited Neil Murray on bass and started to become more commercial with the V album. Helter Skelter followed in 1989.

Tinnitus :ugh:

Went to see Wolfmother at Hammersmith last night and forgot to take earplugs. It was on a level with Motorhead gigs for volume. They were very good though. Crowd seemed to be mainly Aussies unsurprisingly.

Leaving the house this morning in a rush for train to discover the council is closing my road for five days without notice, meaning I needed to move my car and find somewhere to park it or get it towed - suppose that should be a "what made you happy" since at my last flat it did get towed ...

Congrats to Hull on it's victory on Channel 4 last night. Didn't actually see the programme but was accused of being from about 4 of the top 10 this morning at work. As it happens I don't live far from no.4 now.
