I actually really like Jaldaboath on CD and I thought they were absolutely rubbish. Just didn't translate live at all.
Never saw Tragedy at BOA but I did have the misfortune of seeing them at Hammerfest. People seemed to enjoy them though so fair play.

Re: Favourite Sophie Stage set
You're not the only person to say that. Most the people that said they enjoyed them had never seen them with Martin (like myself) and likewise, most people that didn't enjoy them had seen them back in the 90's.

Re: Rumours
I'm only there to see bands. I can think of much better places to get drunk, meet people and enjoy myself than a field in the East Midlands. I couldn't have put it better myself. Sure, I enjoy the social side of things. But it's all about the bands for me. And sadly, Bloodstock hasn't really been d...

Re: Favourite Sophie Stage set
Rotting Christ were terrible compared to when I saw them the year or so before. Skyclad however were great.

Re: Late Night Entertainment
Every year I hear terrible things about VIP. I wouldn't even consider it these days. RocSoc is OK, but £50 for VIP bar access is pointless when it is stupidly easy to get in without a pass anyway.

Re: Potential Clashfinder
If that last slot on the Saturday is someone I enjoy I would be spending from the start of the day until the end of Opeth on the main stage (although a handful of bands would be up for debate dependent on what bands get confirmed for Sophie)

Re: Late Night Entertainment
Cheap drinks would help, I can only really afford one night getting pissed on those prices over the weekend and I normally do that on the Thursday when I meet up with everyone for the first time.

Re: Potential Clashfinder
This has been updated btw. I done it on the day of the announcement (as I will do normally), I just post on here quite rarely now so just assume it is done within 24 hours of any given announcement.

Re: Rumours
Actually I'd say Saxon and Venom are probably equal as far as festival slots go. Whilst Saxon rely on nostalgia I am told they have some good modern albums (can't stand the band personally). Venom have nostalgia and the rarity factor which in my view would put them on equal footing.

Re: Rumours
Special guest slot on nostalgia, but would it be worth it? I love Venom, but I have not heard a single person that has seen them in the last few years say they are any good live.

One of the guys in Dispossesion (Norwich heat) is banging one of my friends. Not sure if that counts. Never heard their music.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
The Prisoner finale was fantastic, may not always have made much sense but certainly kept within the ethos of the show. I actually didn't mind the Lost finale either. Discovered by chance a comedy series on Netflix called Danger 5. It is without a doubt the strangest series I have watched in a long ...

Re: Potential Clashfinder
If I was a guessing man I would speculate that only Onslaught, Lawnmower Deth and the Dirty Sanchez lot (if they are getting a proper slot rather than a late night entertainment slot) are correct on the Sophie. Obviously headliners as well.

Oh yeh, I literally am just going top to bottom from the poster. Can't be arsed with speculating actual places with gaps etc....
