Re: Use of Referendums

I do think it should have been a larger majority. It would have stopped things being so tricky afterwards, and (assuming it would have been over 50% leave) it would have given the EU a kick up the arse to sort out the undemocratic way it's run. However I was and still am (just about) a proponents of...

Technically, it appears not (though I personally don't mind):

No.

Feel good being rude? Whatever floats your boat I guess?

To answer the question properly: Emperor have probably played too recently, and in the SG slot, so I'd say it's highly doubtful they would headline nowadays.

I'm going to hold on to mine and see what happens. I'll only end up buying another if it does happen.

Re: Rate The Bands - Results!

Park way higher than scorpions? Whats the world/this forum coming to? Nice job BTW Soze! Watched both and Scorpions were much much worse than Parkway. Scorpions might be the worst headline set I've ever seen at BOA, it's down there with Slayer in '13. I watch both too. I very much enjoyed Scorpions...

Re: Next Announcement

For me, this has to be the weakest back to back announcements in quite some time.

Oh dear.

I do know some people who will be happy with Dev though.

Set list aside I was impressed by them in Birmingham, and I would absolutely love it if they played BS. However, as everyone says, it won’t happen.

Re: Download Festival 2020

They should bump a band up, just one, every couple of years. It will be a slow build and a little risky. It's either that, or move the fest away from the hard rock/metal sphere, which is risky in it's self; and of course, not to my taste. Ergo, I prefer the former option.

Objectively, that's too much thrash, but personally, I'd be happy with this!
