Re: What has made you happy today

I'll have to check that out, heard Flayed Disciple sound checking a JCM 800 2 years back and it sounded like the warmest/playable tone I've ever heard. He was just running it through a condenser. JCM800 is something I thought was the preserve of people wanting a classic rock tone but I might be wro...

Re: The Q&A thread

Haha, yes, I do have a link  I got mine from here: http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/outdoor-footwear/army-boots-shoes.html They've got a great range of boots from brand new ones to battered old 'grade 2' ones and it's a reliable site, normally deliver within a couple of days. I'd recomme...

Re: The Q&A thread

Anyone know a military surplus website selling German Para's for around £60? I'm finally getting around to replacing my British Para's which have served me well through 99% of all gigs and festivals I've been to. Many a toe has been stepped on by my boots, and many a toe of my own has been saved! R....

...and I still haven't been paid for Aprils work. Email goes out tonight. Its rather pleasant in its English form so far though. Personally don't feel they deserve the time myself and the missus will be spending tonight translating it, but there you go. You should march in and dictate it to them. G...

Re: What has made you happy today

My Marshall is here. This is a very important day in my life and I am like a kid who got the toy he wanted for Christmas. I feel whole. Well, not really but pretty damn close. JCM 800? Nah man. JVM410H. Which you can get JCM800 sounds of among many others. I'll have to check that out, heard Flayed ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Dead Space is the best modern series to come out apart from Dark Souls. Dead Space 3 was fucking dire though, screw EA for milking it.

Re: The Q&A thread

Okay so I've done some research now that I've had the time and figured out more specifically what I'm looking for in microphone. I'm basically looking for an omni-directional desktop microphone with high sensitivity. Hope that helps someone
