Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Fucking BBC and their shitty 'highlights' of the Everton-Chelsea game. Where was the penalty shout incident or when Mirallas was clattered when clean through? Also made it look like the worlds greatest smash and grab when it was nothing like that. Glad I actually went to the game (albeit six hours ...

Re: movies

I've heard from fellow horror fans (some of them very reliable sources) that it's great. Will confirm/deny this later. I'm not a huge fan of the horror genre, but I'm a big fan of 'good movies' in general. If it does something to push the boundaries or offer something fresh then I think it'll be a ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Seriously, what is it with the Championship? So dramatic. I'm enjoying Yeovil's one season in that league.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

A well earned point for Yeovil today. Could've been a win, but away from home against a Championship team at a daunting ground such as Hillsborough, anything is welcome. We always have score a goal which is a promising sign, the only downside being that we won't have Byron Webster for the next match...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Yeah. Although, Gillingham have stepped up to a league that is easier to cope with. Yeovil are basically Mozambique playing the USA at war every week. I need to improve my metaphors.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

I always thought we'd probably go down, so I don't think we have anything to lose...other than every match of course.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

That's quite a distance to travel to watch Championship football. They could go to Cardiff and watch Premier League. :eyes: We're dealing with people from Bristol here, so using logical thought probably isn't on their list of agendas. Plus all of than inbreeding too... ...or they just don't w...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Tranmere actually have fans. Wow. You learn something new every day. Then again, I suppose I can't mock when one considers the absolute bumpkin team I support. They do. But most people in the area support one of the big teams. Attendance does go up when Liverpool and Everton aren't playing. S...
