Re: Next Announcement

Not interested. I appreciate festivals and bands need to do something to keep the cash flowing but this just isn't for me. I don't want some lesser version of normality to remind me of what I want to do but can't. I'd rather just wait it out and enjoy it when I can do so in person.

Re: Dream Evil UK Tour

Still never seen Dream Evil and though I prefer their older stuff with Gus G and Snowy Shaw still a band I really want to see. If I can't get HRH Spring break to work then it's gotta be Manchester. Be cautious about that HRH spring break event - that venue in Yarmouth is fucking atrocious and if th...

Re: Next Announcement

Not a massive fan of eFestivals, they would have been a great idea before the world of being able to find everyones pro filmed sets at most the major festivals. But realistically it's just telling you to do something at a certain time you could do anyway. Agreed, I couldn't give a shit about virtua...

Re: Next Announcement

An announcement this week apparently, maybe the headliner is unveiled... Surely its too soon for that, its over a year away. I wonder if they are gonna be funny about the BLM thing and throw Phil Anselmo off the lineup. Here's hoping.... Nah, if they weren't fussed about the controversy caused by b...

Re: Vandenberg UK Tour

I've never really listened to Vandenberg, but I've heard of them. Whats the best place to start? Internet say the S/T. Probably. They released 3 albums in the 80's before Adrian Vandenberg joined Whitesnake and there is a 'Best Of' compilation of those albums released in 1988 so that may be the bes...

Re: Next Announcement

What makes it odder is seeing other types of bands from the US play around here, to about 100 if they're lucky - LA Guns, Enuff Z Nuff, Bang Tango, Love Hate - all play in places like Evesham, Buckley, Hull, year in year out... I'm sure I've seen Jizzy Pearl sing for 3 of those 4 bands  In ter...

Re: Next Announcement

Hammerfall need to shoulder *some* of the blame for that one though. I really liked Hammerfall's first 4 albums and would likely still go and see them if they played somewhere in the region of Leeds, Sheffield or Manchester. But tbh, they haven't made a decent album since Crimson Thunder. Had their ...

Re: Next Announcement

I won't go through all of the bands you've listed as I have no interest in many of them. However, Iced Earth did shows outside London in 2011 (I saw them in Birmingham) and in 2012 shortly before Bloodstock (I saw them in Glasgow). All they've done since 2014 that I can think of is the one show in ...
