Wouldn't bank on it. There's never a mainstage clash on the Thursday and most of what they usually book for that night is throwaway at best

Re: Next Announcement

What? The extra day is a full day with main stage bands. No it's not. The festival clarified this in response to a question on Facebook. The Weds & Thurs next year are just the Sophie, New Blood & Jager stages. No main stage bands. It makes you wonder what the point is when the only bands o...

Re: Next Announcement

So if you want a refund, seetickets require you to send the tickets back to them (fair enough) but also want you to include a copy of the email they sent you as well. I don't have a printer but fortunately a friend of mine was able to print it off and pop it through the letterbox on his way home. P...

Re: Next Announcement

That's irrelevant though as it's unlikely SeeTickets would know that Bloodstock don't scan barcodes when many venues actually do. Besides, it's in the SeeTickets refund policy that physical tickets have to be returned to them in order to process refunds. I expect it's more to do with making it impos...

Re: Next Announcement

Still don't think MF are big enough for a headliner - if they can't re-book Behemoth (who may have already been booked for 2021 festivals) I reckon it'll be Trivium.. I would say MF are special guest slot level but then again so are Behemoth imo. As for Trivium, whilst I actually prefer their music...

Re: Next Announcement

Even with the expansion to 5 days, there was so little I actually wanted to watch outside of the Priest day that I'd still rather get a refund now and a day ticket next year. As the price is only increasing by £10,  if I change my mind and decide to get a weekend ticket after all, I've only lost a t...

Re: Next Announcement

It's gonna be called off with them trying to keep the same lineup for next year and people will be offered a choice of refund or roll-over.

Someone cocked up and put the webpage up early with all the info on it - got sent a message with the link earlier but I think it's been taken down again

Do they even still use that tagline? It hasn't been 'by the fans, for the fans' for several years now anyway.

Re: Next Announcement

This really should be a postponement announcement, but wouldn't at all surprise me if they keep pushing the ridiculous idea that Bloodstock is going ahead this year. When could you postpone it to though? August is pretty much the last month of the year you could hold an outdoor festival due to our ...

Re: Next Announcement

Don't know why people assume the announcement is confirmation that the festival is going ahead, when even the Government aren't confirming anything beyond the next 3 weeks. I expect the announcement will be that it's cancelled but that they've been able to secure x number of bands from this year's l...

Re: Next Announcement

At the end of the day, it seems overbearingly obvious that this is just an insurance thing. I mean, when was the last announcement? The last one with Video Nasties etc. I think had to happen simply as someone messed up and posted too early. There's been nowt since. Hence I honestly believe they are...
