If you never watched an episode, how do you know it doesn't grab you?

Personally I think it was the best news of the year! I can't wait!

Oblivion All I can say is I loved it, twists, turns, a lot more heart than Tron had, well acted looked AMAZING, great story , not just action, action either good balance 9/10 I will be buying this when it comes out : I saw this today...Apart from the fact that it looked amazing, I'd have to disagre...

Re: movies

Recently watched: Rampart: One of those films where nothing really happened in it, but it was an enjoyable film. Harrelson is brilliant in it. Would have been nice to have ended a bit better though. Oz The great and Powerful: Beautiful movie and surprisingly really good fun. Takes a lot of influence...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Didn't I start a discussion on Revolution ages ago? Anyway, having watched all 12 episodes so far...it starts reasonable well, and has that 'I want to know what happens next' factor, but it quickly loses it's charm. I can't even remember what happened in the last few episodes, I doubt they'll make a...

Re: Recent Photos of Yourself

That's not Mr Gilbert by any chance? That Brummie gets everywhere. :) It is indeed. He was on his top form this weekend. We were in a chalet bit with loads of bands, and he asked every single of them if they were called 'Mike' Thank you, I do love my AV's. My festival staple, Hides all manner of vi...

Re: movies

Just got back from Cloud Atlas, amazing film, I will be seeing it again because I did get lost once or twice then clicked again, but clever, ambitious and I would have watchedeach film as stand alone movies I can see many hating it though, but for me 9/10 what cinema was built for I saw it too toni...

Re: movies

Saw Good Day to Die Hard today...A mediocre action film, loose plot with a predictable attempt at a 'twist'. The little plot there was was just there to link action sequences. John McClane is a watered down version of his former self, some attempts at wit that seem to be so throwaway they're barely ...

Re: movies

Well i'll watch it first and condemn it afterwards I'm just about to watch a film called The Darkest Hour about aliens made of energy taking over the planet, trailer looked good You'll probably love it but I thought it was one of the worst films I saw last year, nearly as bad as Skyline...but not q...

Re: movies

Orange doesn't exist as a company in the UK anymore so I'm sure we won't be seeing any more of those annoying movie spoof ads...instead we get Kevin fucking Bacon every time...which is equally annoying if you go often! They do still exist, EE are an umbrella company running 4GEE, Orange and T-Mobil...

Re: movies

We occasionally get the Orange phone ads ("Don't let a phone ruin your movie"), but that's it. Even then lately they've not been showing - last one I saw was just before The Sweeney came out. Weird that my cinema are seemingly less fussed about people being noisy and more about advertisin...

Re: movies

There's a fine line between escapism and taking your audience for fools. Bay doesn't treat his audience like fools. He doesn't rate them that highly. He never used to this bad. The Rock was unbelievable but still utterly brilliant. Armageddon was beyond ridiculous but still fantastic. But something...

Royal Fail in being shit shocker. Expected a package today that required a signature. Flatmate reckons he didn't even hear anyone knock on the door. Note says I have to travel to Orton Southgate (where I went last week to find they were closed) to pick it up. Now.. I live across a car park from a P...

He isn't aggressive at all, but with flag poles when pissed he is haha  I had a vision of my car getting an interesting dent from his antics - and no thats my friend next to busby, called beardy. Beardy Dan? I thought it may be him, but I wasn't sure if he was there or not...and I could only s...

Re: movies

I can't agree with Gandalf's comment about no good films the past 30 years and the CGI comments aswell, they still make great films with no CGI like the Bourne films, Heat, Ronin, revenly a great film like Justice, if you're not in to films though the likelyhood is you won't know these types of fil...
