I still want to see This Is England because it's directed by Shane Meadows and his other films are awesome, so I can't just write it off. 28 Weeks Later looks like tripe. I noticed that in the poster for 28WL, the London Gherkin appears quite prominently. However, it wasn't finished until 2004, wit...

Seriously, its not often I complain of bad acting, I'm not that fussed by slight hammyness but the vast majority of the cast could barely deliver their lines, it felt a bit like a school play on film. HAHA! School play on film...I can see that now that you mention it! But I thought the acting was s...

Taking my daughter to the cinema and then silly chavvy twats spoiling the day by being idiots :x You too? I saw two movies yesterday. Both were spoiled by idiots. One was an annoying little girl with the attention span of a tadpole who kept goin up and down the steps, and not a word from her mother...

Today I has watched: Spiderman 3: Ok, but I still don't see the fuss. And it was too long and repetitive. 6/10. The Upside To Anger: A wonderful, moving, engaging and funny movie. 10/10 Reviews on myspace :P Also watching Stand By Me now on C4. I've never seen it before, I'm surprised at how many 'n...

Its sort of what you expect at a waste gig though isn't it? I don't mean wankers going out of their way to drag someone into it but if you've enough people running in a big circle, the edges are going to get banged into. I don't really care what you 'expect' at a certain bands gigs. I expect to be ...

Municipal waste fans. The 4 or 5 cunts who decided it was reasonable to involve every one in the venue in their mosh pit. I have nothing against people who want to mosh...BUT at a venue which is half full I DON'T expect to be crushed and having to defend my ribs against moshers who are delibirately ...

All three bands were excellent!

Actually got to see the Haunted properly this time (yet they managed to play my fave song (Trespass) the only time I ventured to the bar during their set :x see also the pissed off thread.

Saw yesterday: Bridge to Terabithia: Fantastic! What a beautiful movie. 10/10 Next: Total shit, steals from every action movie ever made and has a ridiculous plot with more holes than swiss cheese. 1/10 Straighheads: Short but sweet. Graphically brutal and sometimes disturbing. An enjoyable thriller...

Saw yesterday: Fracture: Brilliant. The Reaping: Ok, but nothing new and had a poor conclusion. Pathfinder: Potential to be a great movie, but it was so badly made it was a drag and a chore to watch. Full reviews will be on my myspace soon (hopefully this evening if I have time between work and triv...

Blades of glory has Will Ferrell in it, so will in all probability be full of knob, Arse, Gay and bodily fluid jokes, so will be avoiding that one! Am I alone in finding Will Ferrell's face uniquely punchable? I nearly gagged when I discovered he was in the (otherwise interesting-looking) Stranger ...
