Re: movies

I'm sorry but nobody is beating Kevin Conroy as the best Batman. Ever. Although I like the look of Afflecks one. They use a modulator to hide his voice, like in Arrow, which in my opinion is the best way to do it without sounding like a tit (Bale). Everything else about the trailer? Yawn. Don't care...

I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one being optimistic about it. Waaaaaaaaay too much whining about a teaser trailer for my liking.

Re: TV: Current and Recent

I like how lo-fi it felt compared to the bigger budget CGI stuff like The Avengers or whatever. Most of it was drama OR really good hand to hand combat. It was a nice change of pace I think!

Daredevil was fucking great. Still dying for this weeks Arrow, Flash and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D though!

I have no idea how on earth I missed the new Game of Thrones....

Also Louie is back? I started watching that a few weeks ago, it's brilliant!

Re: The Anime Thread

They're all fine aside from the main character, he's just so over the top. But I'll stick with it as I said, only seen about three episodes or so so far. I loved his over-the-top personality! But yeah, others here will agree with me when Stein;s Gate doesn't properly hit its stride until episode 9/...

Re: The Anime Thread

I thoroughly enjoyed the Stein;s Gate dub, personally. Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul are really similar shows but I preferred Tokyo Ghoul purely because it's a lot nicer to look at, and I found myself caring about more of the characters. I tried watching Ghost In The Shell but it bored me to tears so I'm...

Re: Toast

Anyone try that chocolate-orange spread from Aldi? It's fucking weird on toast. But the sugary goodness is appreciated  Chocolate orange spread exists? If only Aldi wasn't so far away :( It's really nice but I can only use it in small SMALL amounts. I can feel the enamel of my teeth dissolving...

Re: The Anime Thread

Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul both ended pretty well, and I just finished Black Lagoon which was pretty awesome. Any recommendations for something to watch next? I'm considering Ghost In The Shell; first the film, and then the SAC series. Thoughts? Also is anyone watching Aldnoah Zero? Wondering if that'...

I would appreciate the next games bring back a Challenge Mode, but make it available from the get-go. Everyone is happy then!

Re: The Relationships Thread

Congrats man! Fist bumps your way. Yeah dating is still a bit weird for me, but fun weird? Still a bit terrifying though. In a similar vein of success I finally got with someone I've fancied for a while now at the weekend. Who knew that all it would take for me to act like a normal person was to mo...
