Apparantly at oktoberfest (so i assume it's the same at them all) that it's 9 euro a stein, plus the 1 euro tip to the barmaid.

So 10 euro a stein works out at less that £4 a pint really, which is what you'd expect to pay in any major city in the uk. So it's really not bad.

A guy I work with is going Stuttgart beer festival and he said tickets to get in a 10/15 euros or something like that.

Oktoberfest is free to get in.

What made me happy today was realising that 3 weeks today I'll be pissed off my bonce at Oktoberfest. I chuffing need it! Jealous. At some point I will make the time to go to that.
