Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Also, occurred to me earlier, any news on QPR being allowed back into the football league? Apparently it's all to be settled with an £8 million fine. :shy: :x  Yeah apparently it was being quotes as £50m. but of a difference Yep. Various fiddles and dubious issues totalling 58 million and...

Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
A much better gameweek than the first one!
My "clever" tactic of Walcott due to being classed as a midfielder but now playing as a striker hasn't worked out so far.
He's not been bloody playing and Arsenal apparently set to sign Benzema!!!!!

Re: So Venom.....
But the gimmicks are getting in the way, and I'd prefer far less crowd interaction and to see them just get on and play more songs. They are, as you say, outstanding musicians. But as soon as they drop the gimmicks, they'll sink without a trace. I saw them at Download the other year and thought the...

Only managed to get there once (Hippy Chippy next door with bacon stole the missus away) but had a delicious baguette with ham, cheese and chicken in it and it was lovely and fresh

Re: So Venom.....
I wouldn't be surprised if we're getting some sort of mainstream act on the Fri (Mastodon?), Nightwish on Saturday and a 'classic' band on the Sunday? (Priest would be my preference, but there's still some variety out there). With a headline trio that melodic, that may go some way to explain why th...

GOOD: Overkill, Sabaton, Rob Zombie, Lawnmower Deth, Ensiferum, Delain, Armored Saint, Nuclear Assault and The MIghty Wraith among other bands of course. The continual selection of ciders in the VIP bar and for the most part friendly and helpful staff. The Viscious Breed DJs in the VIP bar - partic...

Re: Mainstage Sound
one band in particular had an atrocious sound mix: Dark Angel. Everything was turned up waaaaay to much, the bass was booming over everything, the guitars where muddy, the drums crashy and the vocals, well they where the only parts I could hear relatively clearly (although drenched in reverb). Was ...

Re: Pickpockets
We only had one incident during Delain of all bands where a mate of mine caught someone literally red handed with her hand in one of his pockets.
Aside from that didn't see nor hear of anything this year which was nice

Re: VIP 2015 Experiences ?
I think you're being pretty critical to be honest. Limited beer choice @ the VIP bar – @ 1 point only 3 cask ales were available; I get the impression that some of the casks were never tapped. Many of the beers I fancied were never available. Castle Rock Screech Owl has been on the list for 5 years,...
