Re: Coronavirus

I'm glad someone got the reference  I'm a bit of a Formula 1 nerd, so the next few months will be particularly frustrating for me. No live music and no Formula One! :x I wouldn't worry too much about your wall though, unless you're planning on having a ventilator delivered straight to your doo...

Are you referring to Crashgate from the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix?

Re: Coronavirus

Efforts are afoot to produce new ventilators though. Formula One teams have immense capabilities to build a lot of them fairly quickly, particularly Mclaren, Mercedes, Williams and Red Bull. All the F1 teams have fuck all to do right now too as the first part of the season has been wiped out so this...

Re: Next Announcement

Judas Priest, Saxon and Diamond Head are all "at risk" from this virus. The American bands might not be able to get to Europe for the festivals. I think it's extremely unlikely that Bloodstock will go ahead.

Re: Epica + Apocalyptica UK shows

Are Epica the headliners? Would be grand if Apocalyptica went on last, don't fancy having to sit through them again From the way the bands are listed it looks like Apocalyptica might be headliners, which is a surprise to me as I didn't realize anybody still cared about them. I would rather see 90 m...

Re: Epica + Apocalyptica UK shows

From the interviews Blabbermouth has been cherry picking quotes for their headlines, it looks like the new album will be released in summer or autumn. They've finished pre-production and are currently recording. I think 'The Holographic Principle' is a great album, but it was my introduction to Epic...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

No response to the election result then? I'm assuming you're all still in shock or in a state of depression.

It looks like the Labour/Green coalition predicted by this forum's voting intentions was way off the mark.

Re: Next Announcement

Saxon are playing as special guest to Judas Priest at a show in Austria towards the end of July - could do the same at Bloodstock? Yeah I reckon Saxon are nailed on as Sunday special guests. They're also doing an Italian festival called Rock the Castle in July. Big chance they'll do all of Europe b...
