To summarise:
Rape bad.
Prejudging people based on appearance also bad.
Can someone please have sex with a goat or something so we can get back on track?

Re: What pissed you off today
I finally have an idea what's up with my knee. The specialist is pretty much certain that it's osteoarthritis, and cheerfully told me that it'll never stop hurting properly. I've got to have an MRI to confirm it (and check for miniscus damage too), but it's looking like the stick'll be staying for a...

Re: What has made you happy today
The Longship script is finished and off to the editor. that means I can get some uni work done until I get it back for any re-writes.
Or watch House, as I'm actually planning on doing.

Re: The Relationships Thread
Age differences - I'm about seven and a half years older than Jen. I was 25 when I met her, and she was 18. It is a bit odd going out with someone considerably younger at time (she's never seen Mysterious Cities of Gold, for starters...), but it can work well. I largely put the success down of our r...

Re: I am *hic* drunk on the fuggin' internet
I am slightly drunken, having been at a barbeque, followed by drinking and holding a baby. The baby was impressive, in that is threw up over everyone except me. It did try to eat my hair though.
So yes. Drunk and in need of tea. It's far too hot for this hour in September/October.

Um, no, they're not. They're arguing against a system that could potentially disenfranchise voters without any ID. Different thing entirely. "The new system would require each person to register themselves and to provide more details - such as a signature, date of birth and National Insurance ...

My Approaches To Political Analysis module is using XKCD to help make its points. I think I should enjoy this module.

Re: What pissed you off today
I suspect I may draw Dan's ire with this one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-15105043 They're basically saying that people who don't even care enough to bother registering themselves to vote should still be able to. Um, no, they're not. They're arguing against a system that could potentially...

I've just shaved for the first time in two years. The bathroom looks like I put a tribble through a blender.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually still owned a razor though!

Re: What pissed you off today
It's the first week of the semester (which, to be fair, largely consists of drinking and going to bbqs) and I still haven't got the module guides for three of my four courses. I have no idea which books I need to get or what preparation I should be doing. Absolutely bloody useless.

Re: What has made you happy today
I no longer have a job. This wouldn't normally be a good thing, but it's down to me being back at uni this week, which is nice. I've managed to save bugger all, but I had a fucking good summer instead.
I am now tidying the house, which has been sorely neglected. I am like a beardy domestic god.
