Don't fuck with the Peaky Blinders! The wait is almost over for S3.

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

My wife and daughter are quite keen runners and I got talked in to doing a 5K run with them on Saturday. My legs are bloody killing me now.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Oddly enough I'm currently playing through Borderlands 2. Bought a B1 and B2 double pack a few months ago for £5. They're lots of fun. Just bought the Ultimate Stealth Triple pack for £15 containing Deus Ex, Hitman Absolution and Thief. I've played none of these yet so it seemed too good a bargain t...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I've come to the realisation that for single player/story mode fans like myself, PS4/XB1 games aren't going to offer me very much.

Even most of the later PS3 games seem more interested in providing multiplayer thrills than delivering an exciting, complex and LONG single player experience.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Done it today, no deaths, no bonfires, much clench. I wouldn't say speedrunning, as in areas such as Shrine of Amana I took my time and made sure I didn't get grouped upon, but yeah, path of least resistance. There's no point adding optional bosses in there with the run at stake. Absolutely. Congra...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Getting increasingly further in my quest to do a no death/no bonfire run on Dark Souls II. Got one-shotted by a curving Mirror Knight bolt this time :x . Played a bit of Rocket League to calm myself down  Wow! I guess you mean the Looking Glass Knight. That's pretty close to the end of the gam...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Preparing for Dark Souls 3 by doing runs of the first two. Did the no bonfire run for DSII but I think no death may be beyond my current capabilities. I don't really die to the bosses but I keep doing dumb stuff by walking off of ledges, or I get invaded by someone looking for PVP. As someone who d...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Completed another playthrough of Dark Souls II over the Christmas holiday with a pure strength build character (none of that spell casting/pyromancy nonsense this time). I'm now playing Bioshock. It's a bit like Dead Space isn't it? I crashed through the 1st level without too much trauma but the 2nd...

Re: Computer Games Thread

So I've completed the Assassins Creed II / Brotherhood / Revelations trilogy and couldn't decide which new PS3 game to play next.

So I started playing Dark Souls II again and now I'm hooked. Again.

Re: Recent Photos of Yourself

Very cool indeed. Did you have your hair undercut like that for the part or was it already like that? It looks badass.

I'm a fairly recent GoT fan. Only 2 episodes left of S05 to watch having crashed through the first 4 seasons in just a couple of weeks.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Yes, it's very good. I played AC II about 3 or 4 years ago and I've only just got around to playing it's sequel. I've also got Revelations to play next or may opt for Borderlands 2 if I fancy something different. Decisions, decisions!

It's fucking excellent.

Crashed through all of the Made In England's just in time for the S03 finale on Sunday. Man, that was an incredible piece of TV drama.

Re: Computer Games Thread

AC Brotherhood at the moment and before that it was Far Cry 3. I don't even like paying over the odds for new release games so I'm loathe to pay Sony £40 a year to play online. There should be a reduced rate for occasional online gamers. The only games I ever enjoyed playing online were Red Dead and...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I plowed something like 200 hours in to my toon, had him kitted out in the full deadric armour, pimped to the max daedric bow and I was one shotting dragons out of the sky master difficulty. It just got to the point where there was zero challenge and the only fun was discovering new locations and ne...
