Re: Women Discussions. For Women Things.
Been eyeing up this dress for a wedding http://www.vivienofholloway.com/en/category/Halterneck%20Pencil%20Dress/halterneck-pencil-dress/284/ . I noted the slightly odd sizes and raged about the fact my waist was an inch too big. Started a new exercise thingy and cheered when I measured my waist this...

I have now lost 9lbs in 6/7 weeks :D This is all through changing my eating habits/diet and as soon as my placement is done (2 days to go) I shall be venturing to the gym to help shed the rest  :D Excellent work. I've now lost an inch from my hips - waist - bust so now should fit into the Vivi...

Re: What has made you happy today
I imagine it's harder to get onto GTP, yeah. I don't have £3k for PGCE this year though, so it'll have to be next year! Am I right in thinking you work in primary education? I think I want to go for secondary, but considering I'll probably find a job in the centre of Nottingham, I can't decide whet...

Re: What has made you happy today
Not to put you off, but I think those are the hardest 2 to get into, and GTP is harder to get onto than PGCE. I'd advise that if you are taking a year off do some voluntary work in a school, as much as possible. Most schools wont say no to free help; you'll have to have a background check but they s...

Re: What has made you happy today
School is shut tomorrow - I've still got to go in, but there will be no kids.
I could moan about having to go in, but I'm spending the day making displays and doing some cut and stick and seeing as I'm not on strike I still get paid for a days work

I've got a couple of Gosh ones that are lush.
