Re: Computer Games Thread
Even after another 40-50 hours, Overwatch has yet to become boring. I think it helps that it is rare occasion that my girlfriend is enjoying it even more than I am, but this is a game that I can see me sticking with for a long time.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Good to see Woy has picked "in form" players then! England won't win anything until we get a boss who has the balls to drop someone who doesn't deserve to be there. Wilshere shouldn't be anywhere near that squad, nor should Rashford, Delph, Sterling, Henderson or Stones (at least). I'd hav...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Martinez sacked. I would have thought that they could have waited until the end of the season, given him a "thank you for getting us to the semi finals and good luck for the future" type of send off. Unfortunately there's little sentiment in football anymore. I think they've save him from...

Re: You should uninstall Apple Music
Yes, they have deals with some major labels, but not every label. The worst bit? They'll probably get away with it, too. Give the small labels a sweeter deal to quickly get a license? Saying that, I know it's only recently become legal to create back up copies of cd's in the UK , so then Apple woul...

(and is only really winning the nomination due to the "superdelegates" rather than actual voters) I like Bernie, but she's been winning more delegates than him the whole time. Counts have inflated it with the superdelegate stuff, but she's still up like 200/300 on him, and has won the pop...

To be fair, he has no policies to dismantle. He's flip flopped on about everything he's ever said, and as far as I know doesn't have any announced policies beyond "Build a wall". He's a candidate built on charisma, people's anger, and dank memes. There are a few others, such as raising th...

Re: What made you Lol Today?
Looks like Donald Trump has won the Republican vote. It's not difficult to see why, his competition was poor and people have spent so long just calling him a racist rather than dismissing his policies in a rational manner. People call him racist, sexist etc, and this just makes them seem irra...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
What's the odds that Leicester will go straight down? Might be worth a punt. :P Leicester are slightly more likely to be relegated than to win the Premier League next season according to the bookies. Might be worth a punt. You can get a price of 34ish. And Burnley are also 5000 to 1 to win the leag...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
not Sinton then, but definitely another big money signing was made literally weeks after they signed Warhurst and Warhurst got injured straight away. Probably, as I say, I'm not having a go or anything. A fair few teams have thrown money at it, and most aren't successful. Jack Walker wanted to spen...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
I don't know about the rest of the league, but I know our squad cost about 70-75% of what Uniteds' at the time cost. We had a few freebies and nobodies. Come on, Blackburn were infamous for their spending around that time! Remember when they spent £3.5m on Andy Sinton (big money at the time), and h...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
I'd definitely consider it, what with the fact they'll have to play Tuesday night as well as the fact they'll probably lose half of their players. Isn't that what happened to Blackburn? . Kind of, it took a few seasons, but we didn't build on our title. So the story goes that Jack Walker was offere...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Time to welcome Leicester into the PL winners club, what a phenomenal performance against all odds. Spurs completely lost it at the end of the game there, lucky to end the game with 11 men. I'm sure they'll have their chance in the coming years, but Leicester have earned it this time.
