Re: What pissed you off today
A big group of us went to a joined birthday dinner tonight. Policy for paying the bill is you can pay separately but the last to pay has to cover the rest of the table...worked out to just over $150 and the birthday girls wouldn't let me cover it.

Re: What Blew Your Mind Today?
I spent the weekend visiting my best friend in Canberra for her birthday. The weather had been so dry down there for the last three months, that it looked like it was one disposed lit cigarette away from burning down the whole city! Would you like some of our rain? Seriously take it, we've got way ...

They can, and I'll be honest I won't enjoy asking for donations, but at least when the time comes, I'll have a cover story if I want people to stop asking me questions about why I did it.

Re: What Blew Your Mind Today?
Just signed up for the World's Greatest Shave to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation and I've opted to shave my head. My past self (even as recently as say...4 months ago) would never have actually considered doing this, hence the "blew my mind" bit. Have to say though, I really ...

Re: What pissed you off today
Could hardly walk today so I decided not to make the long journey into town to attend a rally that was held there today. NB: The rally was to protest the new Vicious Lawless Association Disestablishment Act imposed by the state government a few months ago. If you're ever bored, this legislation and ...

Re: What pissed you off today
I was minute taking during the ward meeting today. One patient in particular basically needed an essay written for his progress, so I thought for sure I'd made spelling errors. Went to press spellcheck, and the programme logged me out! Logged back in and there was maybe half a paragraph that had sav...

Everything since I came home from work.
I should have known the new announcement threat would have killed my buzz. Maybe I'll have learnt for the next time I get excited about seeing a band I love on the bill.

Everything between accidently pressing "stop" instead of "snooze" on my alarm to returning from a meeting that didn't happen.
