Re: Trivial Grumblings

But I've got no sympathy for a drug addict killing himself. It was his decision to take drugs. Now three people don't have a father. It's them I have sympathy for. That's where it becomes a grey area. The man suffered from bipolar disorder and depression issues, which more often than not leads to s...

Re: What's freaking you out?

Yes this is four hours 50 mins or something. I went to Majorca last year and got drunk on the plane and that was only 1hr 40 mins! That is a good idea though. I don't have an IPAD but I could get some stuff to put on my phone. I wish I could sleep. I've tried sleeping pills before. They weren't wor...

Re: What's freaking you out?

I'm flying to Cyprus this time next week. I ****ing HATE flying. Keep scaring myself thinking about plane crashes. Get someone to put drugs in your milk like wot they do with BA Baracus in the A-Team. I'd be lying if I said it hadn't crossed my mind...[/quote] I'll be flying this Saturday. My longe...

Re: What pissed you off today

Thank you-glad to know people don't think I was being a precious diva! Nah, a lot of people on this forum have struggled with various mental issues and illnesses, so we're a fairly understanding lot. WPMOT: What I thought was going to be a 5 minute job turned into an hour long one. Fuck you Qlikvie...

Re: What pissed you off today

snip ! I don't think that's unreasonable at all - I'd be pretty pissed off if someone watched me and took photos of me for minutes at a time without permission, and I don't even have a problem with eating in front of people (which in itself isn't that unusual, I don't think). I'd email the guy and ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

I have to sleep on the floor tonight because the bed's broken :/

Wouldn't mind if it wasn't my first night back from Bloodstock and I was looking forward to a really good night in a nice comfy bed!

Re: What pissed you off today

This wasn't today but yesterday. And It's sort of funny but also I know I'm being a total freak and a bit unreasonable, as well. Since I was REALLY young I've had something of a fear of eating in public. I don't think there is a name for it, don't think It's a recognised phobia although apparently a...

Re: What pissed you off today

On the packing front, all these years and I never realised how much more you can fit in if you roll rather than fold stuff. Mug. I think that's where the laydees always go wrong. All neatly ironed and folded clothes won't fit. Just sling them in and force everything in to the corners. Plenty of roo...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

As a weight update, I'm now down 40lb (Just under 3 stone) since 18th April. Been surprisingly due to being so ridiculously fat at the start. Fairly easy to keep a good calorific deficit. Wow well done! Seems like you didn't find it that hard either which is great. I find losing weight such a blood...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

^ :D I weighed myself yesterday (just so I could weigh my dog by picking her up!) and found I was a few lbs lighter than I thought. First thought was 'Yay this means I have some growing room for bloodstock'!!! I run nearly every day for half an hour or so 'normal' route is 5k or about 3 and a ...
