Re: What's freaking you out?

There's a statistically improbable number of paedo mustaches wandering around today. I think the wet weather is causing them to multiply or something.

Re: The Ale Thread.

You'd need Old Crafty Hen then. That stuff is delicious but lethal. It doesn't taste much different from normal Old Spec, certainly doesn't taste any stronger. For some reason Sainsbury's put it on the 4 for a fiver deal with the other ales last I looked, so I got me 12 of them for next to nowt :) ...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Playing through Final Fantasy VII for the first time in years and had forgotten how bizarre it is at points. I'm also pretty confident that the first time I played it, I had no understanding of the whole brothel / Cloud dressing as a woman segment. That the one where one of the characters apparentl...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Just had another set of lyrics rejected for the new band. I don't want to live in a world where necrophilia is an unacceptable topic for a death metal band. I'm starting to wander why he wanted me to do the lyrics in the first place  Your next submission should be about unicorns, pokemon, Dr P...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Episode 5. Episode 7 of Dexter is rather good too. Indeed. Monday's sneaky torrenting makes it my favourite day of the week :) This series of Dexter is confounding my "who is going to end up on Dexter's table at the end?" Dead Pool. Everyone keeps dying so fast it's hard to keep up. The s...

Re: The Ale Thread.

As previous. Problem i've had with northern ales is usually explainable by travelling. I assume it's the same for anyone who's ever tried a pint of Jail Ale outside the westcountry. It's delicious if you get it on tap in the Plume of Feathers in princeton (literally in sight of the brewery), once it...

How the fuck can she walk with those things?

Unsure, but I wouldn't mind being in a plane crash with her.

Re: A driving thread

My little Yaris Verso may be the least metal car ever lol. Once you've seen 5 beardy metalists climbing out of a green daewoo matiz (complete with pink flower decals up the side and back), there's no going back. A mate of mine had just passed his test and drove us all up to Bristol in his mum's car...

Re: A driving thread

I managed to totally roll my car the day before my driving test. Due to lack of car and money, haven't gone back to try again :( Impressed with the sturdiness of said vehicle though, the RAC dude who picked up the wreck couldn't believe that the two of us had been in the car and walked away mostly u...

Re: The Ale Thread.

Can't beat a nice drop of Jail Ale. For best results you need to go to the Plume of Feathers on dartmoor and have a pint or 6 there. I wouldn't really recommend the bottled stuff either, has to be draught. Also Spingo 's extra special. Wickedly potent drop, that. And if yer feeling really brave, you...
