Re: Computer Games Thread

The thing about destiny is that in terms of its gameplay its a lot better than most of the grindy RPGs I've played, but I only really go on for the weekly nightfall strike now. They're changing a lot with the taken king but I still don't fancy £40 for an expansion. Got rare replay on Xbox one, playe...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

There is a team leader position available at work on my department, I am fairly certain i will get it but I still have to apply and go for an interview and such. Just a pain. I did toy with the idea of not applying because really, nobody else has a clue how to do it and it would be amusing to see ho...

Re: What pissed you off today

Megadeth and lamb of God are playing a co-headline show with children of bodom and sylosis as support in Glasgow. This is a flawless gig for me, I love all four bands. Of course it is at the braehead arena. Wrong side of Glasgow for me, I'll still be going but I can't get home very easily at all so ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Preordered God of war 3 on ps4. Its the only one I haven't played and I loved the others so I thought it would be worth a play. Also, I need a game for my ps4 that I can't get for my Xbox one. Any game really. But not killzone shadow fall. Never that.

Re: Computer Games Thread

I wanted Wolfenstein, but I didn't 8.75 want it considering the other games I have on Steam. On the point of wasting money, considering picking up a PS4. I really wanna play Bloodborne, and I'll need it for when Pro Evo comes out in September. As long as you only want bloodborne and multi platform ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Went on planetside 2 on ps4 there just to try it out, played for about an hour. It's a pretty fun game, although I'm still in the starter area, it seems decent enough for a free to play game.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Picked up murdered soul suspect at work for around £7, pretty good game for that price. I'd been looking at it for a while but didn't want to pay much for it cause its not the sort of game I usually go for, but I am enjoying it.

Re: Computer Games Thread

CD project red are hardly perfect themselves. They claimed the witcher 3 would be open world, but it is not truly open. It's more like 3 or 4 open world's. It is however such a good game I can forgive the slight inaccuracy. And yeah they could have delayed the port but from what I hear it runs fine ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

It's likely Activision but yeah, take into account the clear indications that the dark below and house of wolves were cut from the main game to be sold, and the £40 price tag for the taken king, and their solution to peoples complaints being selling extra content worth about £5 for £20... I reached l...

Re: What pissed you off today

Getting more and more pissed off with management at work every day. I was given more responsibility for a reason, and then had some of that taken away, and then given back, and then taken away, and then given back, now taken away again. For no reason. So I have decided they can keep it, I neither ne...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Runs like a dream on console. It's seamless, no loading and it is beautiful. ps4 version is meant to be better but really, I can't see it being a noticeable difference from the Xbox one.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Bungie are charging £40 for the taken king expansion. It's expensive but whatever. But wait, there's an edition that includes the base game, dark below, house of wolves AND the taken king? That'll cost a fortune surely. Oh, its £55... What a slap in the face to people who paid £40-£50 for the game t...
