Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

These protests in London have really touched a nerve with me. There was an election, a party got a majority, it's called democracy, stop smashing shit up and grow up. What are they standing up for? Defacing war memorials, smashing up shops costing thousands in damage and increasing insurance premium...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

Just watched the debate. Ed got a new Arsehole torn.

I'd say Cameron came out top, Clegg with a solid second, and Red Ed stone dead last.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

Did the 38 degrees thing.

I got:

Conservaties - 79%
UKIP - 68% (Worrying)
Lib Dems - 49%
Labour - 48%

it says the results in my Constituency, Warrington South, are currently the Tories and labour tied on 35%

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

My constituency, Warrington South, flip flops between Tory and Labour. Currently have a Tory MP, and I wouldn't mind him getting in again, because Locally he's done a good job, and wants to sucure funds for a couple of bridges over the Mersey and Ship Canal to ease traffic. Seems a bit daft with ove...

Re: A driving thread

Don't let traffic stress you. I did.

Just had a stressful day at work, on the way home the traffic was abysmal - let it get to me, I'm a rush pulling on to the drive and scratched the car on the gate post. T cut should remove it, but it's a shit way to end a shite day.

Re: Motorsport Enthusiasts Corner

Just got back from Hednesford Hills Raceway, for the 16th instalment of the Civil War. Unfortunately (for me) the South were triumphant this year, taking the score to 9-7 to the North, who I'm sure will be out for revenge next year.

Overall a great day racing, fully recommended it to anyone.

3 possible ideas at the moment. An old Jag, BMW 318 or a Chrysler Voyager.

What a way to start the new year, at a house party with two guys we met a BOA a few years ago. All is pleasant.
