Re: TV: Current and Recent

This program is so annoying. It's not gonna be anyone good.

Wouldn't mind Richard Ayode, but the whole race thing wouldn't sit well, so I can't see it happening. They'll play it safe.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

I was thinking that when he went. There are some great bargains if you look for them. I think if any top side tried to sign Remy from QPR he'd do excellent for them. He didn't get to show what he was capable of last year.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Never heard they were after Wanyama. When you're missing out on people to clubs not even in the Champions League you aren't trying hard enough. They really should have tried harder with Bernard though, he would have been awesome for them. Didn't know he'd gone to Porto. I stand by what I said, I thi...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

From a (relatively) impartial point of view the transfer window is awesome, much more interesting than the actual football of last season. There's a lot of intesting, outlandish bollocks everyday, and some of it even comes off. From a fans point of view though it must suck to see your team priced ou...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

If Man Utd got Mata for Rooney there's something very wrong with the world. Mata is much better than Rooney, who wouldn't really fit in with Chelsea's line up anyway. Hopefully he'll go abroad, but if Man Utd are valuing him at £50m (which apparently they are) then there aren't going to be any buyer...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

There has never been any suggestion that a Time Lord can regenerate into a different species. I think an off the cuff remark has been made somewhere in the series about them being able to gender swap but I'm not sure it would work personally. If each regeneration was starting a new canon/history (a...

Thanks. Its the same with all international competitions, they often have a lot of utter shit (especially when England are playing)

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Arsenal have a good a chance as any really, as no-one really knows how Pellegrini, Moyes and Mourinho are gonna do. Wenger should know what he's doing better than any of them. It should be an interesting season.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

In other news, I have the Confederation Cup highlights on. From where? They showed them on Saturday and I haven't been able to find them since. Cockteases. To be honest, Arsenal shouldn't be looking to sign Villa or Rooney - with Higuain now surely they have enough attackers. A good holding midfiel...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

I'm sure technically the Doctor is supposed to be able to regenerate as any species as well. If they really want to go for something different, why not make the bastard a guinea pig and see how that works out? That said, whoever they get can't be worse than the first years of Matt Overacting Smith (...

Re: Computer Games Thread

It selling poorly is the only thing that will make Microsoft change their minds. People have different complaints for different reasons, but saying that people with bad internet are affecting you is quite selfish. People with bad internet can't even play offline games with Xbone. If anything, they m...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I've never had any problems at all apart from with defiance. The reason I'd rather pay is Microsoft have never lost my details :P Mostly I know if I'm paying for something I have a right to certain expectations like the service not being down for several weeks at a time, Microsoft aren't the best f...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Does Xbox actually charge for ALL online play? I thought it was only their store that needed payment. Either way, it doesn't really affect me (I took my PS3 online about twice), but as someone whose used to completely free online services like Steam it feels massively stingy. Are you meant to pay tw...

Re: Computer Games Thread

The price does surprise me as they can't be making much profit on it, but I'm now leaning more towards getting a ps4 first just for the price, though I'll likely get an Xbox one later on because the exclusives are just far better. Either way still keeping my 360. What exclusives do they have? There...
