Re: Non-Metal Music Chat

Off to see VNV Nation tonight. They are doing a three hour set from all their albums. Gonna be beautiful. Nearly went to that but didn't bother in the end, like that band but find the vocals a bit bland and lifeless. As far as industrial/EBM goes, I'd rather listen to the more violent stuff like Su...

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

A lesser known, but quite sad - Neil Finnleton, at 7ft 7 was Britains tallest man, dead at 36. Played in the NBA before moving to acting and played the giant Mag The Mighty in Game of Thrones and The Fisher King in Dr Who Damn, very young - I remember seeing him in a documentary about giant humans....

Re: FRONTMAN TRASHES LIGHT THROWING MIC STANDS AT CROWD

2559 posts on the bloodstock forum Thanks for letting me know my post count, although there's a little number under my username that does that job already. If you really want to bring talentless knuckle dragging hardcore shite to bloodstock, you've certainly picked the right time, as you can see th...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Seen a bunch of posts on the internet calling for certain bands to be boycotted, cancelled from festivals, the hysterical Twitter elite doing their very best to dig up smear campaigns for groups and individuals they don't like. . lol, that reminds me of when Tyr played in London with Sirenia and Un...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Ha ha ha. Unfriended and blocked by Andy Hall on Facebook after he threw his toys out of the pram. lol, what about? Did someone dare to disagree that Trivium aren't the best thrash band on the planet? Did someone have the nerve to say that Kittie aren't the future of metal? This place isn't the sam...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Both Di Matteo sacked by Villa and Guidolin sacked by Swansea on the same day! First is predictable, 1 win from 11 games in the league from a team looking for promotion is shit, second decision somewhat baffling, he did a great job at the end of last season, not a great start this season, but axing ...

Re: What has made you happy today

Making an accumulator yesterday for Man U, Southampton and Spurs to win, and accidently messing it up and going to Watford instead of Man U!

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Looking at the odds it doesn't look very appealing. Most England fans wouldn't want another foreigner after the last two. So it's Gareth Southgate, someone unproven like Gary Neville or Alan Shearer, or they'll go for another dinosaur like Redknapp, Allardyce or Warnock. What a hideous list, just s...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Took advantage of Coral's introductory offer of 5-1 for England to score at any time yesterday (max stake £5), getting me 25 quid of free bets, put £10 on the Sunday treble of Croatia, Poland and Germany all winning and 15 just on Germany winning....decent Chane of this coming off methinks. Well th...

Underwhelming? Well I thought it was ace, easily the best of the season so far.

Another direwolf down though, gawd they're useless.

It seems that's what young Ned is about to discover in the tower.

And yeah why do they go on about the direwolves so much, what do they actually do?
