The facebook groups are dead, too, regarding the festival - just chatting about general stuff.

Re: Next Announcement

Certainly and I have said it before, as a 20th year anniversary it dosent look the strongest bill in the World given the arguments against the headliners. On a purely personal level I would have given the anniversary a more universally known headliner each night and thought of Devin/Behemoth next y...

Re: Next Announcement

Size of his following aside, my question on Devin would be - is proggy noodling a good choice for a festival headliner ? Especially a 'party' festival like Bloodstock where someone like Dee Snider or Evil Scarecrow draws a massive 'good time' crowd ?

Re: Next Announcement

Saxon announced as special guests for Judas Priest on their German dates next summer so I guess they're nailed on as SG's for the Sunday of Bloodstock too! I sincerely hope not. Very boring band. Although it seems inevitable. Back to the pavilion with your heresy, and take my mixed metaphors with y...

Re: Next Announcement

So is it because its priest that no one is up in arms about a repeat booking like they were with Slayer, Megadeth and many more that had more of a gap? I think it's more down to the relative scarcity of Priest gigs in the UK - cos of the Ozzy tour, the last BoA appearance has been their only gig in...

Every other comment I've read has been moaning about Priest playing again too soon. A few people saying it's too soon - but no-one complaining that...
