its hair. it's not that big a deal. waiting a few years until you can wear it however you please isn't a huge sacrifice That depends what you do after school. For many, childhood is the only time of their lives where they have total freedom over their appearance. My school actually blocked me from ...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Am I the only one who thinks valentine's day is worse when you're in a relationship? I always thought it was about singles making their secretive feelings for someone known. It's not very exciting to get a valentine's card from your partner. That's just stating the obvious. Although of course it's o...

To be fair, I think he meant he's got no choice in the matter, not that he wouldn't like one.

Re: What pissed you off today

Not to validate the stereotype or anything, but what logical reason is there for making the bed, other than the desire to make it look tidy? It's not the same as washing the dishes, or hoovering the carpet. There are no consequences whatsoever of not doing it. I only ever perform this task if I'm st...

This is what I'm doing an MSc in at the moment! If you already have a job in a library-type profession, quite often they will fund half or even all your fees. Especially if you work in the library of the university itself.

Re: What pissed you off today

One of my speakers has packed up meaning I have to use headphones if I want to listen to anything. Headphones pushing on my ears makes them sore so I can't do that for extended periods of time. It's also going to cost yet more money to get it fixed. After the car failed it's MOT and needed new tyres...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Pretty old, but I just re-discovered this:

That's what happens when you choose playback over live musicians. You don't have to make sure your musician's sampling rate is correct. Hilarity ensues.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Maybe stick it in the wank bank. This was going to be my suggestion. Perhaps adding her to a gallery of flesh will make you realise she's just one of a million others out there. Most of whom you've never allowed yourself the chance to meet and get to know yet. I'm not suggesting you have that quant...

Re: The Relationships Thread

If you can't handle being 'just friends', then you have to cut her out of your life completely. As long as you still know her and spend time with her, the feeling will never go away. I'd be surprised if you needed to tell her how you feel either. She's stringing you along and she probably knows it. ...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

playing the deal or no deal arcade game The itbox one? My friend and I won £3.20 on that tonight. That's the single largest haul we've ever had from one of those things. The fact that we could have won £7.50 if it weren't for our greed is irrelevant. Obviously, this all went straight back into the ...

Re: What made you Lol Today?

if you watch her other videos, she's blatantly on something. one of them is like a five minute ramble to Glenn Danzig about how she broke the seventh arc and he cursed her or something. I dont even know. Isn't she the girl from the 'Mother' video? Time has not been kind. EDIT: I appear to have quot...
