Re: movies

I also have no idea why it's an 18, there's maybe 45seconds of violence. Please do not go into this film expecting to be scared, this is not a scary film The scenes that are gory though couldn't really be cert 15, i.e the cliff splatter/hammer stuff, plus there's several scenes with full male and f...

Re: movies

[ It's quite obvious that director Karim Hussain's main intention was to stir up as much controversy as possible with this film, presumably so he could feign shock at the guaranteed accusations of blasphemy and claim everything was all done in the name of art. Sounds shit, but at least it had a vag...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Episode 5 was freakin mental, stunningly filmed and amazing to look at.

Was the Dany stuff too much? Probably, but I still loved it.

Re: movies

Thor dark world is referenced a fair bit in Endgame even though it's one of the least popular MCU movies. Only really in Thor's blatherings, it's definitely not essential before watching Endgame. Thor The Dark World, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 and Age Of Ultron are the only MCU films that I would ...

Re: movies

Well we sat down and watched Infinity War last night having never seen the other films you mentioned and enjoyed it as a stand alone film immensely. I'm glad I at least watched the previous two, to have some back story of the characters but as a film it was infinitely better than those. I think we'...

Re: movies

Exactly of course its going to seem like all the characters are competing for screen time if you haven't seen the other films, the first Avengers is awesome but won't be anywhere near as enjoyable if you don't know Loki's backstory, know Captain America's history from 70 years ago, know Tony Stark's...

Re: movies

I watched the first two Avengers movies at the weekend with my son as he wants to see the new one. . Why the first 2? The third one is the one to watch if you want to see the new one. Because I assumed it was a continual 4 part story. We're going to watch the 3rd too but it made sense to start with...

urgh I hated it - dull, dreary and misogynistic, mind you, you wouldn't really expert anything else from the dork who made Martyrs.

It's pretty ace, they nicely don't spend time on the semantics of what actually happened in the black metal scene and just make a really fun and gorey movie.

Deathgasm is also a metal comedy done right.
