Re: A driving thread

And just to dispel another stereotype - no, it wasn't me who decided to make Jim get rid of the sports car. :P

Re: Pooping Ladies Thread

Uh, wow - not that I know of! Congratulations? Also I'm glad this thread is back because I AM PMSING HARD ENOUGH TO BE GETTING EMOTIONAL OVER OLD MAPS. Genuinely, this is not a lie. I started thinking about how people used to live and who they were and their hopes and dreams and nuances and idiosync...

Found myself walking out of the office with a genuine spring in my step lately. The weather helps too.

Two glasses of wine and I feel like the backside of a badger. TWO GLASSES. Okay, they were big glasses, but seriously?!

My mum made me watch Children of the Stones once. Genuinely the most frightening TV series I've ever seen, wtf..

Re: A free-for-all thread

Been offered a temp-to-perm job for pretty sick money but it was only off the back of a phone call with an agency. If you were offered a job, like a proper office job, without a face-to-face interview with the company itself, would that ring alarm bells ? When I probed the agency guy as to why not,...

Re: What's upset you?

Living far away from my family means being far enough away from the petty drama and menial family things. However, living far away from my family means being too far away from actual *important* family things. Like an impending death. Ugh.

Re: Trivial Grumblings

The clock change is messing me up more than it usually does. Woke up at 10am. This is not going to help when I have to wake up at 6am tomorrow. Also I have a half-cold - a feeble under-the-weather thing. Part of me wants it to develop properly, or not bother at all. Can't be arsed with only feeling ...

Re: What has made you happy today

News of my new role at work is finally out. I interviewed a couple of weeks ago for a role that came up in another department, one other internal candidate (who happened to be the guy on my team who sits next to me... I didn't even know he was applying. Very awkward that day), and they offered me th...
