Re: What pissed you off today

Chris sliced his finger at work and now there's blood all over my white duvet. It looks like I've perioded all over it. :x Could he not find a plaster between work and your bed? The bloke upstairs is playing really bad music really loud. He did but was being a massive drama queen and kept pul...

Also finding a long lost piece of easter egg between my boobs. Fuck yeah.

(By long lost, I mean about 10 minutes, just to clarify)

Re: What has made you happy today

Completed my first full week at the Grosvenor with both a chest and throat infection. 70 hours - booyah! Now I've been wandering round Chester all day, I got a new phone for the first time in forever, got Chris's watch fixed, bought some holiday clothes and some drinks for this evening. Now for a to...

Re: What Blew Your Mind Today?

How young everyone in the pastry section at the Grosvenor is despite all being excellent chefs. Today it was just me and 3 guys (1 is the CDP (my line manager) and the other 2 were demis (the same as me)). I spent all day working with them assuming they're mid 20s. Almost choked when I heard them di...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

My house is in a mega studenty area. I'm trying to chill out in my room and watch some TV but radio 1 seems to be blasting out from all angles. I'm tempted to shout out the window to tell them to turn it down...

Re: What has made you happy today

My mum found my camera that's been missing for months. She posted it with a £5 note attached  Work's going well, finally feel like my feet are adjusting. Plus I've been doing 8-8 shifts so I get to chill out all evening. Aaand my relationship is going ridiculously well. We haven't spent a night...

Those are inadvertently really douchy sounding comments.

Also, that's some amazing loss Kim. Well fucking played.

Agreed!

But you do look amazing Kim, you should be immensely proud!

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

I usually add my whey to a bananna pancake in the morning after my first swim (1 bannana mashed, a few tablespoons of egg white and my Vanilla whey) keeps me going most of the day. I started weight training a few weeks ago so have completely upped the Protein in my diet (2 chicks egg white, total y...

Re: What pissed you off today

Hungover so I cancelled meeting my parents for lunch. Not only will it be ages before i see them again but I could really have done with a nice meal...baked beans is pretty much all I can afford right now. On top of that I've lost my phone so I can't even call to say I changed my mind.

Re: Trivial Grumblings

If I thought you weren't good looking I wouldn't have said anything at all! You are genuinely quite stunning, you have lovely skin and really unusual (in a good way) looking features that I assume come from your polish background. As I say, fit. And like Hannah said, there will be other reasons why ...

Re: What's freaking you out?

Spent the last hour or so reading about the Chester Grosvenor. It's rated as the No.1 hotel in Britain, 4th in Europe and 11th in the world. And it has 5 red stars. Most hotels are awarded with black stars. I've never been to a hotel with even 1 red star! How the fuck did I get a job at this place?!

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Official photographs from my friends wedding are up. There are none of me. I know I'm not exactly the best looking person in the world but ffs. Seriously. I wouldn't take it like that! You're pretty damn fit. There could be a whole range of reasons, or simply no reason at all, but it's definitely n...

Re: What has made you happy today

Hah, same. I still have the compulsion to keep eating despite feeling sick and not particularly enjoying it in the first place. Me too. I know they're not meant to be eaten in one sitting but that's just what happens. Easter is all about feeling sick. WMMH: Moved in! :D It still hasn't sunk in that...
